"Men have to be with multiple women, it is natural" lmao in the animal world it's natural to eat your own litter too, mate.
@Asaspecimenyesimextraoddinary Жыл бұрын
And in the animal world males are the pretty and colourful ones who try and woo the female. They should be the ones shaving their legs, doing make-up, pretty-fying themselves, the ones with stricter beauty standards etc. If they wanna being this argument up they better follow all the other rules of the animal kingdom too and not complain when their wife devours them after reproducing 😂

Also, there’s no animal species on earth where the females are monogamous but the males have multiples partners. I agree. Seeing your only "safety" crumble down into a million pieces and cry hysterically isn't good. I have a core memory of when my mother did the same and it's just not right. The child shouldn't be the one to comfort and be the rock for a parent. That said, crying a little, like an emotional conversation or showing you're toughed is different. Showing emotion and even tears is good, it teaches the child that it's okey and that it passes and that they're allowed to express their feelings outwardly. But there is a limit there imo.
@strawberryfox8819 Жыл бұрын
My mom is the same. I'm the eldest and when my mother was in emotional distress over my sisters being sick or our pets, she'd come to me to vent and seek answers or comfort. Got to a point where I had a full blown panic attack when she came into my room one morning and actually had violent thoughts every time I saw her. So since then, I told her: "You can tell me about some of your worries but I'm not your emotional support, you should discuss this with dad because I cannot handle it and it is not my role to play". Since then, it's gotten better (I've also moved out, so that helps). But also, I've never seen my dad cry. In 20 years, not a single tear. And I'm convinced that it put a strain on our relationship because I don't feel as comfortable sharing my troubles with him as with my mother. He's a caring guy and I know he wouldn't judge me for it but I think it's important to see that kind of vulnerability in your parents to be able to also express that vulnerability properly.
@moretacospls3253 Жыл бұрын
Thank you all for your answers! I‘m an emotional person myself and there is nothing wrong with crying in gerneral. My dad often gets teary eyed on my birthday when he thinks about my birth which shows how much I mean to him. My sister did the same to me and after years and years of being their emotional support person, I‘ve just had enough. They can talk to me about their hardships in life, but I’ve set healthy boundaries.

I used to watch Jubilee all the time I got turned off by them because of how controversial their middle grounds were getting. They'd have these terrible prompts that you can't really reach a middle ground on and the whole video is just meaningless argument. All the while, they ask these obsurd questions that clearly lack nuance and are only asked to push a certain narrative. I'm all for civil discussions but Jubilee obviously cares more about views than actually deriving some meaning from the conversation. The way they operate their channel is honestly irrespective and nigh insidious.
@neonmushroooms2339 Жыл бұрын
I stopped watching them for this exact reason. They give a middle ground section to sides that aren’t even comparable, showing them as equal while, for example, only one of them has scientific backup. Therefore, the channel is so hungry for views that it gives a platform to potentially dangerous ideas.

Sometimes unexpected costs come up, and one of us needs to put in more. We always discuss it but we NEVER keep score. Emotionally, my partner is doing like 80% and I'm doing 20% right now because I've been going through some stuff. But I see what he's doing and when I'm better you bet I'm going to make it up to him. THAT is a 50/50 Relationship. It's not about true 50/50 it's about stepping up when your partner needs you and vise versa.

Using the sperm excuse falls apart when you take into account that upwards of 90% of sperm are abnormal. So the reason why you have a lot sperm is because your body is trying to make up for the bad ones, NOT because you have to spread your seed. Using evolution as an explanation has its merits but it’s often used as an excuse, especially in cases like this. Evolution doesn’t produce the most efficient body parts and abilities, many times it just leaves them as is because they’re “good enough”. So producing lots of sperm could just be a thing that “stuck” because it wasn’t causing too many problems and nothing more.

to me a 50/50 relationship is not always going to be 50/50 but what it means for me is that we're equals, respectful, and we are there for each other, whether it's when were both going through it or if one of us is going through a rough time, the other steps us and is there for that person, and later on, it can be reciprocated because the mutual respect and love and understanding are there, when the man said his wife stepped up and was working while he built his collection and company, that to me is a 50/50 relationship and dynamic because they find a balance that means, you're there for me always and especially when i need it the most and ill be there for you. a relationship is a team and so many people dont get that.

Ngl the crying infront of kids part is what convince me about humanity, you'd be surprised how kids can be very understanding without even comprehension of emotions. They understand that crying means you're sad laughing when you're happy and well the "angry stare" when you piss them off. It's when you aren't expressive that a person gets scared (no matter the age) because again, humans are unpredictable majority of the time and usually body language/expressions is what gives a hint about how you should act around a person.

I think mental illness has been running so ramped in the patriarchy for so long because why as a grown man are you out here cheating? You can literally do what you want bro 🤣The guy with the locs was super attractive energetically. I love men with feelings

@@Raya-ir4tm that’s not the topic at hand. The topic is about MEN who feel they have a biological right to cheat.

Where do men get the idea that they can tell women what we should do, what our nature is, and how we should live? Like where did the nerve come from

Every time I feel sad, I count my blessings to have never met any of these alpha guys.

9:01 I love that you didn't criticise his needs, but acknowledged that people might want to have different things, but that still doesn't excuse cheating. Your takes sound always so wise and open minded.

I hate when they talk about women's desires like they had first hand experience in any of it. First of all, it makes the assumption that all women are the same. And second, men who call themselves alphas will literally never actually listen to any woman who disagrees with them and challenges their worldview. I'd dïe mentally, emotionally and literally if I was in a relationship with someone who'd "guide" me like I had no brain of my own. But none of them would know that because none of them would have any interest in listening (let alone believing) someone like me.
