I've had the Apple card a few years now. My main use of it, and I think you didn't mention it in this video, is that you can use it to buy any devices from the Apple Store, set up payments with it, and pay no interest at all. So your Macbooks, iPads, and iPhones can get on an interest free payment plan.

I stopped using Apple card after i asked for a credit limit increase and they denied it even tho i always pay off thousands. My friend applied for the card and got a higher limit than I have. she doesn’t even have a job. After that, I knew this card was a joke.

I’ve had the card since it came out and besides the savings account, the card itself is really bad. The ui is great but the benefits are almost nonexistent. There are just way better cards than this one. Also please don’t finance apple products. It’s a slippery slope and as a former Apple Store employee, I have seen many people in tough spots continually financing their products and digging themselves in a deeper and deeper hole. Get a card that makes sense for your situation. Being able to buy more apple products is not a benefit.

I agree partially. Bad is a bit of a stretch. I would say it’s simple. It just doesn’t offer all the bells and whistles which I would agree with that. Also I agree with avoid financing for Apple products as well. Buy it in full if possible.

Not sure what you mean by benefits are non-existent. You literally get 3% cash back on popular products. You get $75 no strings attached on invite. You get daily cash, + no interest 24 months on Apple products payment plan. You get 3 months Apple TV, Music, Fitness, News Etc. (about $120 in value) No seriously, what else are you looking for??? It might not be the best credit card out there, but there are lots of perks if you are into the Apple Ecosystem. I've always said i didnt want to be an Apple Fan boy, until 2021, Iphone 13 almost didnt have good competition, Airpods pro no competition, Apple Tv no competition in a land slide, Silicon chipset Apple laptops no competition in land slide. Apple watch Ultra, almost no competition I'll question anybody if they are in their right mind to pick any other product against the 4 I mentioned above. You've almost got to be insane to go anywhere else. 🤦🏾‍♂

@@beigefox6579 it is 3% cash back on exclusively apple products. Just comparing it to the Discover It card it just doesn’t have nearly the same value. That has 5% cash back on actual daily purchases that actual adults make. Listen, I get you’re an apple fanboy and they have a chokehold on you I used to be the same way. Once you start widening your horizon you’ll break out of that bubble I believe in you

Hello, thanks for the Video.. quick question how often do you pay down on your balance. Is it once a month or whenever you can. I guess what I’m trying to understand is it is just like a regular credit card or you have a payment due date and a posting date on your credit. And does it boost your credit.

I’m not sure if this is the right way, but the way that seems to work for me is I pay my balance as soon as it posts. I just use my credit cards for the cashback. A lot of people pay it every month before any interested is added to the balance. But it is like a regular credit card in terms of having a due date and a minimum payment due. And it does report to all 3 credit bureaus.

With credit cards, it’s always a good idea to pay your balance each month in full, nothing less.

not all credit cards have the annual or montly fees, just the premium ones do and in return they have added benefits like travel and hotel discounts and bonuses. to answer your question though the apple card supposedly does not have any montly or annual fees.

You should talk about the billing cycles for the Apple Card which are the OPPOSITE of other cards, so not what expect. When the statement says its due November 30th that 30th day is DAY 30, the LAST day to pay not the 1st day to pay. The statements are issued on the 1st, DUE on the 1st and the 1st is DAY 1 even though it says due Nov 30th. BE WARNED. Also, if you get this wrong Apple will not care. They will report you 30 days late and will do so over $7. So I would not get this card as all of your other cards work traditionally and its hard to remember this especially since the statements keep telling you its due on November 30th and thats just NOT true. PASS ON THIS CARD.

Hate that you had a bad experience with the card. I mean I understand completely, but lucky I been in a position to be able to pay my balances well before they’re due. I’m not familiar with that process to be honest, but definitely something anyone who’s interested in getting this card should be aware of. Appreciate the comment and informing me of that information.
