Hey! I forgot to mention this in the video, but this is not something you should be using every wash, depending on how often you wash your hair. I think this rinse is great for using once a week, but some people prefer to use it bi-weekly or even monthly :)
@elyseb.50295 жыл бұрын
I do it a lil bit every time, but i think my scalp as a condition (it's the only way that my scalp is not red and itchy) so i guess it depends 🤔?

I use shampoo bars (soap based) so, I have to do a ACV rinse every time because the water in my house is really hard. The rinse makes my hair shiny, soft and bouncy. My scalp has never been so healthy and clean. I love apple cider vinegar!
@sarahmonique53215 жыл бұрын
I do it once a month, sometimes putting a little more time in between. It has a lot of benefits, but it's a bit harsh, too. Also, it doesn't have to ACV, you can use reg vinegar. If your hair is thicker or u have a diff texture (you're black or non-blk poc) leave on your hair for 20 mins, then rinse.

Have you ever heard of the ucpe method? In Portuguese: umectar, condicionar, pausar e enxaguar. It's a good way to take of the oil after a oil treatment(in Brazil we called it "umectar"). It's simple: you apply the oil, leave it for as long as you want and to remove it you apply some conditioner(a good amount, it's best to use a silicone free one) pause(for 10-20 minutes and then rinse it off. Works amazingly! Cleans the oil without striping your hair like shampoo does, it's like a Co washing but better hahah

Something to notice is to not use a conditioner that has a pH higher than 5 after the ACV rinse. This rinse is not only to wash your hair but also to close the cuticles and prevent frizz.

You made a video about fungal acne but didin't mention AVC. I've recently starting drinking APV and applying it on skin since it's anti-fungal (as mentioned). I mix ACV with lemon juice to help with the taste. I can't say it's been effective because my fungal acne was mostly cured by the time I started AVC but it seems to be a good product with many uses.

Definitely gonna try it, thanks Anna for all the useful information ♥️♥️ Also I'm facing this constant trouble that my hair a starts feeing heavy once it crosses a certain length and I feel Mt neck bending forwards a lot more, even when I'm just sitting . For me that length is just below my butt and I keep trimming 2-3 inches so as be comfortable. I'm planning to get my hair cut into big chunks of layers so as to maintain its length as well as reduce the thickness of my hair but I've heard that getting layers really damaged the ends of your hair. Is that really true?
@OrganicallyAnna5 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily! When you layer the hair, the longest layer just ends up being the thinnest because ofc you took away some weight of the hair. You've also created ends for each layer so just have more places available to experience split ends. When I was growing my layers out I didn't notice more breakage, but just continue to follow your routine and take care of your hair :)

Hey I love your videos ! I have a question tho ! As of late I've been super OCD with my hair and try avoid getting split ends, I trim occasionally, I wash with lukewarm water, oil my hair and wear protective styles, but I see split ends regardless... do you have split ends regardless of how well you care for your hair ? I even take the time to carefully cut the split ends before the split more. Am I doing something wrong ? HELP!
@OrganicallyAnna5 жыл бұрын
Hey! My hair has never been 100% split end free. Some people are blessed with really resilient hair that doesn't split frequently at all, and unfortunately I'm not one of those people lol. I don't stress about them unless they're so bad that it's effecting my length and my hair's overall health. If you're keeping up with regular trims, your treatments and your routine, and your hair is in a relatively healthy state otherwise don't stress! It sounds like you're really on top of your hair care so don't overthink it too much :)

Hey Anna, I recently got a haircut (above shoulder length) and I am in love with my hair! My hair is so soft and shiny and much better than when out was elbow length. However, my hair type is in between wavy and curly and I was wondering how I should protect my hair against damage and split ends? Most leave in conditioners have silicones and other harmful substances, but I do use the Sukin hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Which is made with Sulfate and silicones and is completely natural.
@OrganicallyAnna5 жыл бұрын
My favourite leave in conditioner is the sweet pea leave in from Carina Organics. It's silicone and sulfate free and so are their shampoos and conditioners, which I also love. Calia and The Innate Life also have really good silicone and sulfate free products :) In terms of protecting it now that it's shorter, just continue taking care of it in the same way as if it were long. Try to avoid heat, over-washing, and chemical processing as much as possible. Be consistent with masks and treatments and find a routine that works for your hair type🖤
