I'm glad I found you. I've had a difficult time trying to get the right texture. You do a really good job of showing how to make things. I hope your site takes off.👍🙏

Thank you so much! I try my best! I know how it felt learning all the things to learn about fresh milled flour. (When I started there wasn't much out there.) I am still learning every day, and plan to keep sharing what I find out! Thanks again! 😀

Have some home grown apples (very few) & am going to nake this tonight. I mill my own flour & use Sonora Soft Wheat for cakes, etc. Its an ancient wheat from Northern Mexico & Arizona. First grown by Indigenous people there. AZ is my home state so I had to try it. Thanks for new ideas.

@@GrainsInSmallPlaces I made this yesterday and the whole family loved it. It came out so delicious. Soft and tender but with little crunchy spots here and there in the crumble. It’s the first dessert I’ve made with my whole grain and my Mick Mill and my ANK. Thanks so much

I think my book says those particular whisks are only used for making whipped cream. The other whisks are the ones you use for creaming room temperature butter, and sugar.

Cara I don’t know if you know this but the Ankarsrum is really different from the Busch and the KitchrnAid when it comes to yding the wire whips when mixing up a cake. The wire whips that you were using are on,y suggested to be y sec when whipping up whip cream and egg whites to make meringue. The instruction manual says to use 5he other wire beaters fir mixing up small batches of sift cookies and came batters. The wires for both of those beater options are smaller than on the Bosch and the KitchenAid. . The other reason is that they will put to much air into the cake batter. The wires whips have broken very easily. They are sitting with coming up with a sturdier cookie paddle similar to the Bosch company has.

Oh cool, thanks so much! It was my first time using that bowl & attachments. I have since just been so happy with the metal bowl and roller paddle. 😊

@@GrainsInSmallPlacesyour welcome. I just saw all of my typing mistakes and autocorrect. I should never type out a message when I am in a hurry. Thankful that you understood my message. The multi wire whips are just for whipping cream, and egg whites into meringue. I think that you can also use them for whipping cream into butter, also. The single wires are mixing up batters and soft cookies coughs in smaller amounts.
