i had a 250MB HD in my A3000. Always found the blue/grey AMIGA scheme easy on the eyes. Started with an A1000, then an A500, then a A3000. The writing had been on the wall for awhile at that point and eventually jumped to Win95. I do remember emulating the Mac on my A3000 back in the day.

Only in a world devoid of acronyms!! can you imaging having to live like that.... (D)RAM - (Dynamic) Random access memory, BASIC - Beginner's All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code, MIPS - Millions of Instructions Per Second (Meaningless Indicator of Processor Speed), BING - But It’s Not Google 😛

@@daishi5571 well exceptions for sure, but my personal hates are ISA, or ice ahhh, some acronyms just should not get a hint of a phonetic idea of soundings. ,..BIOS ISO, ISA and SCSI are my peaves. if you all could just do that that would be great.....

I have all my original disks going back to v1,1 which still live in the original plastic bags. I also have the 1.2, 1.3, 2.0 and 2.5 original disks, safely stored in old plastic disk cases. Yea I am an old fart. I do own several versions of Amiga Forever which gives you the Commodore released ROM's and OS Disks which makes it well worth the purchase price. I am not a purist and see value in emulation because it allows everyone that desires to obtain the Amiga Experience. I do own my fair share of Classic Hardware which I have kept a live over the years and it's nice to own but lately the prices have not been favorable and all that hardware being so old is fragile and will die so emulation is the key to keeping the Amiga a live regardless of the platform you chose to emulate the Amiga with. I have told my kids and now my grandkids that when I pass away, I will come back and haunt them and not in a good way if they sell off my Amiga collection.
