Vito rocks! Lol! Hey Joe, good on ya! I got my grandmother's recipes from typed sheets my father handed down, and I never got the chance to cook with her or my dad. These lessons you're doing with Vito will be the most precious memories in his life when he's 50. You're a great dad! And pretty good cook! I'm learning a lot! 👍

My aunt was over the bakery and i got to work with her there. Your family ties are so full of strength and love. Good going Italian Soul Brother.

I don't know what it is about watching Italian cooks; it's just so comforting! My father was Sicilian and had his own cafe. My mother was a chef as well. I WISH I had footage of either of them cooking. The memories are golden! One question: why do some of the apple slices look orange??

You would have made a great teacher & coach! These look good. I always wondered why people didn't pre-bake their apples... I always thought pears would be good too, but I never tried it with pears. I do the whipped topping on the side as well as ice cream to distribute w each bite too. I do it with many foods actually.

Love the food and the music. We go to an Italian restaurant in Western Australia and when the owner wants everyone out, he puts on Dean Martin real loud, however if my family are there we all shout hooray, and start singing. 😁😁 we love Deano and we’re not even Italian. After a while you hear him taking the record off and swearing, then he starts putting the chairs on the table.

Surprised Joe used a food processor and water as opposed to the video for "The world’s greatest pie crust". Guess Joe was in a hurry. Side note: Don’t ever ask a kid what their favorite food is. The answer is always, "I don’t know". Better yet, don’t ask any questions, you’ll live longer.
