Not every family is so greedy and pulls down their successful members. My sister just bought a $400,000 house, and we celebrated like lunatics. I have nothing but happiness in my heart for her and am even looking into moving nearby to be closer to her. We are from New York and she now lives in Florida. Wtf is this weird change of tone? Why tf are they acting like she's such a bad person? It's never shown that she 'shares/brags' about her income so why is it framed as if she was? Narration shift is weird and it ruined the story. She's not a bad person for doing well!
