Apple Fan Boy Switches To Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra - Goodbye iPhone!

Today as an iPhone fanboy I switched from my iPhone 15 Pro Max to the Samsung S24 Ultra and this is the 2nd year that I've switched and I am more than surprised.
But I'm joining Team Android as I try to learn as much as I can, so wish me luck!

​@miketorre16 The S20 wasn't that much of a good phone to begin with. The phone was overpriced, had a subpar camera system and a processor which constantly overheated. Ever since the S21 series it has fixed most of those issues.

@@FoodKart In iMessage, messages from other iMessage users appear as blue bubbles and are E2EE. Messages that come from Android phones appear as green bubbles and are communicated via SMS (though soon it will change to unencrypted RCS). If messages are sent or received from Android phones to iMessage they are compressed to shit to look terrible. This is by design and meant to increase social pressure towards Android users as this is an issue that could have easily been fixed by now. It only really is an issue in North America thought because in most places places people prefer apps like WhatsApp for communication

For further info, most people in the US has apple iphones and so it forces genz to buy an apple product if they want to get into their friends and groups because of this blue green bubble thing. A stereotype is formed that if you are not an apple user, you are broke or there is something wrong with you. That's why you'll see that most genz that is over 80% have iphones than any other Android brand.

With anyone with kids or little cousins. I learned you can turn on a lock app mode. So when thoses little kids are watching something on your phone it’ll keep them still on the app without swiping too close it. A 2 year olds dream . Best believe

Make sure you have the s24 ultra set to dolby sound. (settings/search Dolby Sound) it sounds loud and with bass. that's why it didn't sound as good when you tried it.

Two things that keep me choosing Samsung over any other Android is Separate App Sound and One Hand Operation+. Especially the latter offering customization of gestures makes handling a large phone so much easier..

They have been a valid opponent since the s9, iPhone people just never really care to TRULY appreciate the other side. Just like samsung people. Why would you? You have your phone that you're using and there's not much reason to go outside of that, but I've used both and I would say that iphone has been top notch for longer than samsung, but definitely since the s9, samsung has been right there just like 5% behind iphone, in my opinion of course.

To me samsung has been killing iPhone for years ... I was an iPhone guy and then I got a note 9 and whoo ... that phone still works to this day 🙌 and I got a 24u ... I keep a cheap iPhone for the iPhone people who cry but there's just way more you can do on a samsung period ... the samsung dex by itself is like having a tablet and a phone all at once plus split screening apps plus floating apps ... the 9,000 things you can do with the s pen like taking pictures changing music or turning tje volume up and down... I love that iphones are beasts at photos but I feel samsung caught up to them a few phones back and now they kill nighttime and are on par with day time ... video is still iPhone and I feel mainly becwue Samsung tries to do bigger files that can't be transferred easily like iPhone... they both have uses but samsung has definitely passed iPhone at this point... Iphones need more features 🤷🏾

The s24u looks like the best phone samsung has ever made and I really like it and think it's awesome.... but I'm still going to try the iphone 16 pro max when it's out. I just want a change. Also, in america iPhone is just dominating so hard. Apple truly created value in that it's ubiquitous now. It's actually not just the US, it's the entire world. Even South Korea where Samsung is based. Apple is gaining market share at an incredible pace. This just makes having an iphone even more useful. I'm excited to try one.

The settings are so many so that you can make it the way you want 💪💯 you can boost the volume change the volume buttons ... change your background to backgrounds with notification sounds ... the s pen you can just pull it out when the phone is off.. you can also use the s pen to take photos turn the volume up and down and also can use it to skip tracks or through you tube or Spotify... there's so much you can do!!

I don't care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?

Because they work, been a samsung user for 10 years moved to iPhone 12 pro max and it was great apps didn't crash no lag memory works well, just works. Samsung I had issues battery dies quicker over after 2 years, apps crashed, ui becomes laggy over time with more updates, it wasn't a great experience, yes more features, customization. But I am thinking about giving Samsung another try, but still on the fence.

sooo, there's one more thing about the speaker, you can turn in dolby atmos so that you have better and bigger sound. btw, if you do feel like having more bass, go to sound setting and change the mixer, usually they have preset mixer but i customize it myself

Apple also knows that the green bubbles are what lock people into their product. This has been why they've never wanted to support RCS until pushed by the EU compliance order. It will likely be a lazy effort on apples part when they implement it. They already said they won't support any encryption. Nice job caring about your user base apple.

I am upgrading from a 13 Pro Max and the phone itself as far as running. Smoothly is still good. The battery is just not lasting me through the day. I've had iPhones for a while. The last android I had was the galaxy note 4. What I remember about android was lag, not opening the program when I press the button, even on a previous android, not answering the call when I slid the screen to answer. I'm fairly technical so figuring out how to do stuff is not a problem. I just wanna make sure it's going to work and that there's not something on iPhone that I use that I can't do on android that's gonna be a dealbreaker. For the most part, I use it like probably 99% of people Facebook apps for sports and business and browsing the Internet playing the stupid little games nothing intense. My biggest concern right now is battery life and speed of charging so if you read this long question and have any opinions on the S 24 versus the iPhone 16 Pro Max, any info would be appreciated.
