OK, let me get this straight. The daughter invites her parents and her sister and brother-in-law over at the last minute for dinner. And she's not even going to be there for many hours and she expects her husband, who apparently does not get along with the father-in-law, to take care of dinner and entertainment. She's a problem right there

Don’t you wish life worked like that? The only time I ever had someone “wait” on me was after I had major surgery and even then, I HATED it. My husband was so mad at me because 2 days after getting out of the hospital I was up and moving as much as I physically could. I hate having people do things for me and I know my husband doesn’t mind doing it for me, I just don’t like it at all

@@Allie_phelpsWhy was he mad?? After my numerous surgeries I always got up and walked the halls as soon as I felt I could. I felt driven to do so and I knew I could both handle it and that I needed to do it. ❤️

@@veritysimone he was mad because I couldn’t just relax like I was supposed to haha. I was supposed to be on bed rest but I just couldn’t do it. He knows I’m a mule when it comes to listening though. After backing my back have well over 20 back surgeries and 2 years of learning to walk again, I just feel I can’t waste time laying around letting someone else care for me.

As someone who is 7 yrs away from being 60, Bruce’s melodrama is off the chart. If I ever acted like that, I would hope someone close to me would shake some sense into me or have my head examined.

If the dad is that incapable of even moving to get a remote, he needs to be in a care facility. Being fed by someone else... Also he does realize that he will have to wait 3 hours looking at the "hideous newscaster" just to get his pathetic ego satisfied... how stupid is he?

I was taught that to get respect you need to be someone worthy of respect. To be someone worthy of respect you need to treat others well/respectfully. My Mom always said you get what you give. I never understood people who think that they ‘deserve respect’ just because they are older or male or your boss or such. The golden rule we learned as kids still holds true as adults, “treat others how you want to be treated”. I never stop being amazed at how ‘entitled’ some people are, reminds me of a neighbor that lived across the street from me when I was younger she was so entitled that she had the nerve to tell us to trim the bushes in the front of the house because they were ‘blocking the view’. She was Notorious for ‘watching the neighborhood’ with her binoculars to ‘check’ on everyone’s house.

I’ve no idea how long that pointless conversation over the TV remote lasted, I’m 13 minutes in, and I give up. If I was one half of that convo, it would have been over after two minutes. “No, get it yourself you bone idle lazy bum”, would have ended it.

I just unsubscribed from a story channel like this because the DIL was so stupid and subservient to their in laws under the guise of being kind. It’s just stupid and not reality. At least this SIL had some backbone although the conversation between them is a little too long and he shouldn’t listen to it. We know the FIL is a jerk. We don’t have to keep listening to the ridiculous conversation for so long.

I had to skip to the end, good lord what is wrong with this man. He outlined what wastes of space his brother in laws are, yet buys them a house so they don't have bother thinking or acting for themselves. Jeez just buy one house, send the sisters in law to live with the mother and divorce the husbands. Who supports a gaming addict? It;s just another form of gambling without even a prospect of getting a win.

This should be titled 'FIL & SIL have a 20+ minute argument about the SIL coming over to HAND THE REMOTE to the lazy FIL' Literally... The first 23 minutes are just listening to something that stupid So tired of these overly long stories where there's huge chunks that are just a big waste of the listeners time. Just going to start disliking these and not listening to them anymore if they're over 30min I honestly don't mind a longer story if it's not fooled with a ton of junk that's not necessary or interesting
