First, I must say I love Brad. He didn’t waste time with Pauline and Julia. Honestly, I’m surprised he didn’t divorce Julia when he caught her poking holes in the condoms. But he waited and this is what he got…a baby crazed wife and mother-in-law. 😮 I did think this was a tad bit too long but the ending was worth it. The sad part is that Julia thought that having sex with an unknown man to just have a baby is not cheating. Also, how did she think Brad wouldn’t notice the timing of the pregnancy. Pauline may have given Julia these stupid ideas, but Julia is an adult and should be able to think for herself. Delusional much.

Part of the birth certificate should be to have that Confirmation before it is signed. Too much stuff like this and more happens way too much and so many people are hurt when the truth comes out. Just make it part of the mandatory lab test required by the ob/gyn.

@EricaHelms-w7g9 ай бұрын
I can get wanti g to have a baby so badly, but one has to prepare for having a baby. Pauline git the case of Baby Rabies, and well, this happened. Julia thought she was ready to have a kid, but it turns out she isn't. She should have waited until they were more financially stable. And this is the prize she got: destroyed trust, unprepared for a kid, and a hard life ahead. Parenting is a heroic act if done right. Children are not toys or an accessory to flaunt about. And the only time I would be against abortion is IF the mom or parents think it would be easy to get rid of it. The only times I could approve is if it were under dire circumstances, like health issues. So no, I don't pity Julia, but I do pity the baby. She is clearly not ready at all, and may not be a good mom. The kid is better off being adopted in a home that could provide for them.

Why are these stories labelled as "texts" presented as texts, but they're all sat at the same table, talking & eating?? It's weird looking like it's text conversations but they're actually face to face... Do these people sit face to face and just text each other? The wife was obviously VERY wrong, but he is very dismissive about his wife wanting to start a family... Yes they made a decision, but the clock for a woman starts to tick ans she has no control on that... When her body is ready, IT tells her.

Independent small businesses will always have some sort of shaky ground no matter how long you've been running.

With the advancements on modern medicine, women are having children in their 50's without complications so having a baby in late 30's (as this woman would most likely be if she'd just been patient) has low risk if the mom's already fairly healthy. The oldest first-time mom was in her 70s.

Whether male or female who is ready when partner wants a child, you cannot coerce or bully your partner into wanting a kid. BOTH PARTIES have to agree. If one cannot wait or both cannot agree, the relationship is unsustainable and it's best to separate and search for someone who agrees with them and feels the same.
@Kati_P8 ай бұрын
Forcing a person to be a parent when they don't want to be at that point in their life is a recipe for disaster. If he wasn't willing to have a baby on her timeline, then she should have gotten divorced and found someone who was, since it was so important to her. No, you don't have the right to pressure your partner into having kids they're not onboard with, regardless of age. If they're not on the same page as you are on the big things they're not the right partner for you. Period.

In an alternate universe, Brad gave in and they did have a baby together before they were financially ready, and Julia becomes verbally and emotionally abusive towards Brad because they constantly have to struggle with money. Early on he belittled her “baby fever”. Kept saying that having baby was something they needed to discuss, but he shut her down when she tried to. Doesn’t not excuse what she did. First is taking care other people’s children, etc. Having or not having children should be a joint decision, but disregarding your life partner feelings is bad on both sides.

Women have been doing this for a long long time to men. I think that's why some US states are now passing laws forcing mothers to get paternity tests done on the baby as soon as it's born. It's been a long time coming but it's a much needed test so that fathers know for sure and don't end up paying child support of raising kids that aren't theirs or even worse go to jail for being a dead beat dad when it's not his kid in the first place.
