Phones experience being knocked around much, much more. Back when phones had removable backs and batteries weren’t glued in, batteries would fall out if you dropped your phone, causing it to power off and be restarted the next time you powered your phone, which was super annoying. It would also create sparks which could be pretty dangerous at times. Im guessing even with a back fixed on, the battery could move around and come loose or create sparks inside of the phone, not sure.

Some 9V batteries consist of 6 AAAA cells inside! This was the quickest way to source the battery for the HTC Flyer stylus back if the days

4:13 - I dont know why I expected it to short out and spark when your pry bar went across the aligator clips. It is just a 9V battery after all
@SAHA357116 сағат бұрын
9v can also have 6 smaller (something like 4a) batteries inside

it's like my hp laptop; hard as hell to open up but once you do it's super nice to work in

So how do you hold the battery back in place after doing the replacement
@KENCINGBERSALTOКүн бұрын
in short , you just shorted the metal panel until it heats up and softens the glue .simple but great idea. maybe they get that from amd processor which needs heating to release processor from heatsink due to the compression of thermal paste.

Hey! Where's the Dbrand skin for the 9 volt battery?
@KLondike5Күн бұрын
That's new for battery internals. I used to open things up as a kid. I usually found six AAAA sized (I'm guessing the size) batteries. At least once I found a more solid chunk of chemical in there that was black and powdery.

Is there now also a possibility to swap parts? Or they gonna still not work?
