Anna is not only evil, but stupid to boot. A deadly combination. It's always nice to see karma catch up with such people, but that doesn't make up for the emotional and psychological damage they do. In this case, Cara will probably never totally trust Sam again because there will always be that nagging element of doubt. And Sam will always be haunted by rumors about what "really" (in people's minds) happened that day when Anna's husband showed up at his workplace.
