Really hate the stories that include the offended spouse refusing to forgive a child for past behaviors years later. Child may be still an insufferable brat but it's been a few years...mom should have taken some face-to-face time before rebuffing her. Maybe a new child support agreement would be enough. Maybe some home visits before deciding she is unfit to be part of Mom's new life. Maybe she's just as awful but Mom should give her a chance. Maybe she is so focused on the money is because Daddy taught her it was all about money. This is the literal definition of “you reap what you sow “ Grace is such a strong girl, standing up for her mom and being by her side Also this negligence in the part of the father, for letting Mackenzie doing all of this. I almost feel bad for Makenzie because she got so brainwashed by her father to hate her mother, hopefully she actually grows up and realizes what's going on and maybe the mom and her can sit down and talk things out, but I also wouldn't expect the mom to do that after having horrible things said to her by her own daughter. I'm sure the mom still loves the daughter unconditionally, but she's still super hurt, especially since Makenzie never even apologized to her for what was said. @@twiceshy9773 yeah, I kinda had the same feeling. Although it's not just Mackenzie that mum is refusing to go back to, it's the cheating father and abusive relationship too. At 13, you are at the in-between age, and seeing as Grace is mature enough to know that everything Mackenzie did was wrong, Mackenzie should probably realise that too. Dad and daughter thought they would be set after kicking mum out for the mistress (who seems like a really great person herself, only wanting to date married men? How lovely/s😶🤨) the fact it has all gone wrong is on them. Because, at the end of the day, she helped her dad have an affair, helped him force her mum out and forged the divorce papers, and at 13 years old, you should have learned by now that actions have consequences. What Mackenzie did with the divorce papers was a literal crime, the fact mum let her and her cheating idiot ex husband get away with that should have been enough to know that they need to keep mum on their good side, and if that means going no contact? That means going no contact. Thai doe not mean that you can harass, stalk, charm, sweet talk or try to force your way back into your mums life, not after everything she helped her dad do. And you definitely do NOT stalk your step sister at school! Mackenzie is obviously a VERY troubled young girl (with her dad though, that's not surprising), who desperately needs help, but I can't find it in me to get mad at mum for walking away from her. What Mackenzie, and her dad, did was 100% totally unforgivable. Sometimes you have to be a little selfish and do what's best for YOU, even if it's only to protect your heart from more pain, protect it against someone you love, or loved, unconditionally, and from someone who is meant to love you too. At some point, there IS too much water that's flowed under the bridge, and it can sweep the bridge away. Sadly, at that point; there is no going back. I think that's where mum has got to. She's moved on and tried her best to heal and make a new life for herself. The fact she met and married a man with a daughter the same age as her own was probably just all down to luck and chance.

Lanet Gill Here in the states it would not go like this at all it wouldn't happen that fast with a child involved . No matter what the girl did the mother would still have to pay child support. I don't know what kind of trouble she would be in if it was found out she forged the signature she would have been really young . But as long as her dad had primary custody the mom would be paying child support. And since she did forge the moms signature that means she is still legally married to her first husband and not to her 2 nd husband so she is not Grace's legal step mom. In Florida the signatures have to be properly witnessed and signed at the courthouse in front of the clerk, but even so there has to be a hearing before a judge for the final judgment even in an uncontested do-it-yourself divorce proceeding. Separation is not required. The divorce is fairly quick but it depends on when the hearing can be scheduled -- it's not up to the couple divorcing; rather it depends on the judge's availability. However, if one of the parties to the divorce is not willing to sign the divorce papers, the divorce will still be granted. It only takes one signature. Forcing people to stay married against their will is not a thing.

Given her mother got divorced, went through custody procedure, found a new guy, married, and became the mum of another child, it must have been some years ago! So a kid around say 10 did all those things? Crazy timeline! LOL

13? Both kids sound like they are in earlier elementary school, not high school freshmen. Jeez, I'd feel sorry for Makenzie, but the longer the video went on, the more she sounded like one of those creepy children from horror movies.

Around 7:00 Makenzie ( a child at the time of the divorce ) goes to town hall and files the divorce papers on behalf of her parents and they accept them? Reminds me of the ancient TV series ( Dr Howser MD ?) where a very intelligent boy passes his MD at 15 and starts practising medicine! The next video from this production house will probably have a 6 year old preaching the virtues of family planning to her parents

The few stories like these, where minor children are not forgiven by their biological parents for things they can’t possibly understand, always unnerve me. Since these ‘text stories’ are fictional, that makes it a bit easier. However, I know minor children are sometimes treated this way in the real world too, so it still hurts.
@blender44642 жыл бұрын
Like the one where mom abandoned her kid because he chose to live with dad? But it's totally his doing, because she told her minor child that she would never have anything to do with him again if he stayed with dad! And then she gets to triumphantly refuse to help pay for college or whatever. Disgusting. And people root for this.
@yesterdayitrained2 жыл бұрын
@@blender4464 Yes, I agree. It’s heart-breaking to listen to. It’s not a silly little story anymore, but an adult rejecting (and destroying) a young child. I’ve seen it happen IRL, and it’s genuinely traumatic, devastating, and completely unfair.

When I was 13 I had long understood that actions have consequences. I also understood what forging was and even scolded a friend of mine for forging his parent's name on a field trip form (I was 12 when that happened the first time.) I think she came up with everything on her own since I was able to come up with devious plans at that age, but for the sake of the argument of her being manipulated by her dad, I also at 13 understood that sometimes people manipulate you and that if in a situation of being manipulated I may need to pretend to go along with it and then at first chance tell a parent/friend's parent/authority figure/police or even a friend what was going on and ask for help. It's hard for me to believe she didn't understand what she was doing. HOWEVER, I do think when Mackenzie is older her mom should give her a chance to reconcile and forgive her. But I get why she can't forgive her now- she is currently still being the same version of herself who forged the divorce signature and kicked her mom out. edit: typo

@@Melvin_Master_of_Rainbows I agree- age 12 (maybe 11). The ‘bad behavior’ in the story timeline started much earlier, at age 7 or 8. The actual story *takes place* when the girls are 13. We are talking a huge gap in understanding, maturity, and consequences in those 5 years.

Even at a young age, Makenzie is quite a practised manipulator. She will probably end up in a juvenile gang followed by juvenile detention and later racking up all sorts of criminal charges.

Ehhh I generally look down on people who abandon their minor children. They're pretty easily manipulated, and depending on how they grow up, they stay that way. It's so easy for parents to mess their kids up and when that's the case, they need stability and support. I think the mom should at least pay child support simply because that's still her child whether she likes it or not. What a loser.

Op has the right to her feelings, but Mackenzie is still her child and a divorce won't change that. If the kid was an adult and did that it would be unforgivable, but she was only 9 or 10 and easily manipulated by her cheating father. Now Op has a new family and no time for her other daughter, that's cold.

What thirteen-year-old still uses words like 'mommy', 'daddy' and 'tattle'? Most seven-year-olds would consider themselves too grown-up for those words.

Yeah, if the bio daughter was 17/18, I would understand the mother's actions more. She is a child. She I'd not grown. The mother's actions are despicable. The daughter is only doing what she has been taught. She is still a child. The mother is an adult. Also, who would believe an 11 year old's forged signature was the mother's signature? The mom is disgusting to be finding joy in her daughter's misfortunes. Was the child's actions horrible? Yes, but she was being led by the father and his mistress. The mother's refusal to forgive her and teach her the proper way to treat people is all on the mom. You don't throw children away.

This is a difficult one. Obviously it's totally understandable that she would never want anything to do with her ex husband, but her daughter? This all seems a bit vague, she is 13 in this story, the new daughter has been with her 'mother' long enough to have fully accepted her as a mom. So how old was Makenzie when her parents separated? She must have been extremely young, so obviously her Dad manipulated her into doing everything she did. Surely, despite her behaviour, she is young enough to deserve a chance to be a part of her mother's life? She doesn't have to give her everything she wants, just be there as a mother.

Ugh, not to sound like Dr. Phil; Children can't make adult decisions and shouldn't have to. She wasn't and isn't capable of deciding anything, and instead of bringing up the past, as if talking to peer, she needs to be in control and mature, *like a parent*. *M and G are children. You are obligated to care for children.* She can change the way M is raised. She can not tolerate her attitude. She still needs to realize that a 6 year old can't decide to live with a mistress over her mother. In fact, she shouldn't even have known that her father had a mistress!
