Being a House Spouse IS a FULL TIME REAL JOB!!!!

@MishaSims Жыл бұрын
right because imagine what you would have to pay someone else for every job a stay at home spouse does… that woman was a dumbfuck of the highest order
@LadyTsuki Жыл бұрын
Yeah. I hate that a "real job" is dependent on how much income it earns or if it earns any. It is STILL work to clean the house, as well as raise children if that's in the mix. I would never dare look down on someone who did that. I know before I got sick, I had the idea that I would have a "house husband" cause I'd go out and work as a graphic artist (this was 20 years ago, things were different). However, I would have never dared to look down on my spouse. Cleaning and cooking are hard work! As it stands now, gender roles don't matter. Whoever stays at home most should do the most housework. If both of you work, both of you do household chores too. And, let's say someone is able to stay at home all day financially. They are not to be thought of as "lesser" because they don't earn money. Keeping a household running is HARD work. I've been single my whole life and had to do everything, so I know just how hard it is with no help. Anyone that looks down on housewives or those who work from home (as that's common in these as well) needs a reality check.

Also, where the fuck are the police? The daughter said her mother told her to go do it, so how is she free to keep texting for fifteen more minutes?
@BabyKangaroo279 Жыл бұрын
Because the mother and daughter weren’t texting when she made the comments. There’s no evidence that there was a conspiracy to commit murder and they’re not likely to believe a raging narcissist who just ran people over. The mom and her lawyer can just twist the convo around and say exactly what she said to OP: she didn’t tell her to get her car and run people over.
@AcerNitroFive Жыл бұрын
If Samantha didn't run over OP's father, OP wouldn't have the courage to stand up for herself, and she would have been Candice's slave / floormat forever. Hence that incident was kind of a 'blessing' in disguise. But I'm just surprised that Candice was never arrested for being the mastermind behind Samantha's criminal action.

I kinda want to imagine OP manages to get enough evidence to sue Candice for her attempts at slandering her & Derek. She also manages to get enough evidence to get Candice sent to prison. Candice is not only forced to sell what she has for the lawsuit(they likely also get a restraining order just in case) but also is now in prison. Be funny if she ended up in the one Samantha so either Samantha starts asking her mom what to do which makes both look pretty bad to the inmates or Samantha throws a tantrum about blaming Candice for everything.(She's not wrong but Samantha also needs to take responsibility for her own actions) Candice is terrified & likely has to be transferred to another section so she & Samantha never interact. Still looks bad on both. Bonus both Samantha & Candice being forced into mandatory therapy while in there

The best way to get back at a manipulative narcissist: Destroy their reputation in their neighborhoods and workplace. Candice wasn't prepared to get in a war of wits with her daughter-in-law. Candice should've been arrested and charged as an accomplice for the murder her daughter committed. She acted like a spoiled child with her son and daughter as her toys. Jessica just made me cringe the way she revolved her life around her husband and never stood up for anything really.. Not even her father's murder and mother's attempted murder. Not realistically, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if Derek turns out to be abusive and isolates her completely where she can't get help and has no job. I hope they or rather her don't have kids!
