Why does some people think being a nurse is low education? I’m a nurse and if you specialize you have to study as many years as a doctor. The doctors have their focus on patients. Nurses see the patients and report to doctor. Treatment goes from observation to diagnosis to treatment. It’s teamwork not hierarchy.

I have a lot of respect for nurses. They don’t get the respect they deserve. They are very hard working and dedicated. I ge😊t it that there are a few bad apples as there are in any profession, but they shouldn’t be defined by a few bad ones.

I think without nurses most patients would die. I know of at least twice that nurses saved my life when doctors prescribed me drugs I’m very allergic to. They caught the mistake and prevented me from taking those meds. I thank God for nurses.

I think this is a sadly left over sentiment from back when woman were not allowed to become Dr's. They had no choice but to stop at the "lower" education. My mom was a nurse before she retired. Personally I think nurses work more than Dr's, and in many cases are more important.

Without nurses, Doctors would never get anything done since nurses handle all the common tasks such as ivs, getting blood work, checking up on patients, etc.

I've always found this really odd. They're engaged but haven't met each other's familes yet.. my husband met my family after 6 months of dating & I met his family. I don't understand these people not meeting until they're engaged or months away from getting married?. Had she met his mom beforehand, she would've known to dump his sorry butt even sooner. His mom is already looking down on her job & trying to dictate how her life should go.. What does his mom do for a living?🧐.. I'm glad she saw the red flags and ran. Nurses are just as important as Dr's. Who do his mom think is in the operating room assisting Dr's?. "Sometimes he makes mistakes, but it's ok". No Donald, Dr's aren't allowed to make mistakes. They literally have people lives in their hands. One little mistake can be fatal. George shouldn't of been allowed to clean the hospital bathrooms, let alone be a dr.. he doesn't care about his patient, thinks his almost fatal mistakes is funny, comes to work smelling like a distillery. Now he's selling pills, risking his medical license and jail time.. he's an idiot. ... He should've been fired long ago.

Why though? I know that many people marry more than once, but don’t one usually hopes that the marriage will last forever? And than it is a once in a lifetime event. The controled substance problem is a real problem. And it causes the people who really truley need the pain medications to have trouble getting it. I know that problem, I am disabled and in constant pain that hasn't gone away, only gotten worse. The one pain medication just in the last few years has been changed from a non narcotic to being teclassed as a narcotic only because people can become addicted to it. People can develop an addiction to it only because it reduces the pain, you don't get high from it. So I won't take the "heavy narcotic" medication like Norco, Oxycodone, and a few more. Don't want the addiction that these powerful medications cause. Been off of them for 4 years. My lesson to the readers is that be careful when you need pain medications, ask for the lowest possible strength. And don't stop trying to get off of them. You can do it. There are lots of agencies that can help with getting clean.

@@juliehanson8976 that's true. I have been fighting a broken back since 1997. The pain is intense, at times I just don't move around. Pain is not fun. And if a little pill can reduce the pain just a little bit, can make your day a bit better.

Let me guess they were also in the same room... "Oh no mr police man, why are you drawing your gun?" "Becasuse I am going to shoot you, right now!" Bullet is added to chat. "Hello, my name is George. I am a bullet." "Oh no! This projectile is very fast, if it is coming any coser I might die!" "GEORGE, what did you do, the man collapsed" "I am sorry, I did not know I could do that."

The storyline would have been so much better if George had started to abuse alchohol, then drugs due to the huge pressure his mother put on him to do better, to keep his 'reputation', after Katie broke it off, leading to more mistakes, ending his career. To just do a 180 in character and all of a sudden start drug dealing because he thought it was exciting is a lazy and pathetic storyline.
