I've done watched about 10 videos in a row that say how to make apple pie filling and none of you have shown how to do it ... you can't just simply say I'm adding cinnamon and adding sugar tell how much of the ingredients you're adding .. somebody needs to learn how to make a how to video !!!!!!

Here's recipe Apple pie filling 2 ½ Apples (Granny Smith) peeled, cut and put in a bowl. ½ TBS Lemon (juice) 1 Tbs. Granulated Sugar 2 TBS Light Brown sugar ½ tsp kosher salt 1 Tbs Cinnamon ¼ tsp clove-ground 1/4 cup raisins 2 TBS cornstarch 2 TBS butter Method 1. In a bowl put all ingredients except the butter and cornstarch 2. Melt butter in a 10” sauté pan add ingredients from the bowl to the sauté pan. 3. Sauté over low heat until apples are al dente or slightly harder. 4. Put apple mixture back in bowl and place in a water bath. Cool mixture. 5. Add corn starch and work into apples

This is the worst apple pie filling recipe i've seen on youtube. I mean raisins? come on man you're doing way too much. A cup of water with some cornstarch and a pinch of salt in it, boil it, then add in some brown sugar and cinnamon, maybe a little nutmeg if u got it, and let it thicken then add some diced apples and stir up. ez pz apple pie filling.

Someone the other day gave a Chef a hard time because he didn't make it the "Original Way"!!!!!
