The biggest issue with the Vision Pro is it isolates you from those around you instead of connecting you. Apple failed to realise that their most successful products connect people to each other. The Apple vision pro is a solo device that has no connection to other vision pro's and no shared spaces for everyone to interact in. It's that same issue Meta and all the headsets have.

Steve Jobs changed the name from Apple Computer Inc to Apple Inc because he wanted to see something more than just computers, but Tim Cook seems to be killing everything they started doing to do just that, like the Titan car project. Why did Cook kill it? Tim Cook is just giving us the same thing, the Vision is cool I guess but everything else is the same, the competition is doing so much more. Cook needs to go!

I really don’t like how Apple‘s been trading voice over the last two years with iOS and iPadOS 17 and now at 18. The voice performance has been pretty much been ruined, I reported to Apple about the performance, and the bugs that I witness with voice itself with the voice pronunciation, the quality of the voice of the enhanced and the speed and yet they don’t want to fix it

I upgraded to the iPhone 16 because my carrier was offering a watch 10 with it where they pick up the tab. That makes it a good deal. I will now hold till l can get back on the Fibonacci upgrade program with the iPhone 21 and then the 34 if I live that long. Since I am in Canada, I am not expecting to get AI for at least another year. So I end up with a better camera and a faster processor and more memory to do the same stuff I have been doing. But I was able to sell my iPhone 13 Pro for 80% of the cost of the 16 Pro. Not a bad deal for me. The person hat bought it was desperate and she owed me for being a PIA! So, I found the highest price on E-Bay and quoted it to her. It was up to her to decide if it was affordable.

I was hoping for a VR goggle that would replace a TV, but now I have a 55" OLED on the wall with a pair of HomePods ... second one is updating now, I'm presuming they'll sound nice, I've only tried to minis. I didn't want to dedicate this much space to entertainment, but meh, AirPod Max can get warm and overwhelm my sensory stuff so it might have been a poor alternative anyway, one of the drawback of ASD, sensory issues

Ive, for all his previous success, was the one that ruined the MBPs with that awful butterfly keyboard and removing all the useful ports. The amount of money lost and hassle from chasing size zero engineering, then having to backtrack Ive’s work in terms of a more reliable keyboard and re-introducing ports, is significant even for a money powerhouse like Apple.

2012 was the last good year for Mac. All newer machines have the RAM and storage soldered in. You can't even upgrade the GPU. They are completely useless. So much for the environment and reusability. Throw it out and buy another.... My 2009-2012 Mac Pros take any GPU, up to 256GB RAM, and all boot to NVME. I wouldn't trade them for any newer Mac.
