Do we really need a new pencil ? I believe this is just Apple getting people to buy a new pencil when they buy an ipad. Actually, what is sorely needed is innovation in the software side. The Adobe suite for example has not been fully ported to this. There's no way to do actual development on those machines ... Incredible HW but almost unusable for creative tasks ... Only consumption.

What's the point of an M4 based iPad Pro that can't run macOS apps? It's like limiting a Porsche to driving in grocery store parking lots. I stopped buying iPad Pros because I want to run programs like the full versions of DaVinci Resolve Studio and Blender. The iPad can't do that.

Wireless charging, or an additional Thunderbolt port. @@hunterjay8331 more in the line of using iPad as a passthrough device for 4k video capturing devices, for either streaming or just console game capturing, instead of using a computer. Keeping iPad separately charged at all time for such application is pretty essential IMHO.

Well… Those of us who are older than we wish we were also recall that the Mac back in the late 1980’s was kind of a great thing too. Especially because of the OS. “Windows before windows”! Although Commodore Amiga and Atari ST were quite good too… but were regarded as things for gaming and not for “serious business”. Anything as revolutionary as these things will likely be very expensive. Although I beg to differ about the AirPods. The sound (music) is rather poor in comparison with similarly priced hifi earphones (not to mention if comparing them to even more expensive ones). And unless Apple hasn’t changed it recently, they don’t even support the least lossy Bluetooth coding, because it would cost them a dollar or two per unit sold… something even the cheapest phones have supported for more than a decade.
