Happy birthday Bootsie. You're adorable 😍 Can't wait to see Apple's puppies. A friend's dog was delivering puppies and one of the breech births got stuck in the birthing canal. Instead of the rear legs being close and slipping out the legs were splayed and one leg was in the canal and one leg wasn't. Thankfully, my friend was there and went to the emergency vet quickly and there was a happy ending. And yes, i want to see the egg hunt 😊. Go Bootsie.

Happy Birthday, Bootsie! Thanks for the information on what to expect during pregnancy and birth. That's something I know nothing about since I've never bred a dog. Well, that's not exactly true. We took in pregnant cat once--she was a stray we found rooting through a garbage can for food. We knew she was pregnant, but didn't realize she was in labor and she had three kittens in the middle of the night (so we weren't with her). One kitten was stillborn (according to the vet), but the other two were very healthy. We feed puppy food to our rescue dogs that are very underweight and mal-nourished (they need a complete re-feeding schedule of many very small meals per day (usually 4 to 6, although 8 are sometimes needed), food with extra nutrients and higher caloric content, and lots of rest and tlc--the puppy food is per our vet's instruction).

I remember Bootsie wanting to mother Lizzie’s pups when that happened so curious how she’ll be as granny. Question: For ask the breeder, generally how many litters do you think a dog should have assuming no problems develop for the mom?
