You don't need a blood sugar monitor to lose weight. You need to count calories and be in a deficit.

Being mindful of spikes will go a long way for many.. there is also more satiety in fat and protein macros - It can only help people compare with others and to be mindful of what we are putting into our bodies and how it affects it etc

Depends on what changes with the new iPhone. Currently still using an iPhone 13 pro max. I was the type who would change my phone every 2 years every time but skipped on the 15 because it wasn’t that much of an upgrade. Hope the 16 is much better otherwise might just get an iPad.

I'm finally replacing my 2018 iPad Pro with the latest 13” 1TB iPad Pro. The Apple Watch with glucose monitor will be of great help to take care of your health, not only to control overweight, many people, including thin people (some of them predisposed to diabetes), are unaware of their glucose levels. Of course as soon as it is released I will buy it, I currently use a first generation Apple Watch Ulta.

My wife and her 2-sisters have been type 1 diabetics for 60 years . An Apple watch that measures your sugar without a needle in the skin is a huge jump in diabetic care . I remember in the 80's with my wife testing her urine in a test tube with a pill whose color result would let you know your old sugar level .

This, like the dexcom sensors mounted to the arm does not read the glucose level from the blood. It reads from the tissue right under the skin. No need to enter a blood vessel.

I just bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max. If they announce the new Apple Watch X this year I may end up with one, but I really want to hold out for the glucose monitoring to happen. I just got diagnosed with Type II Diabetes five weeks ago and I'm already sick of sticking my fingertips. Having live real-time readings would be so nice especially without any kind of needles.

I suffer from severe diabetes, and I am really looking forward to a non-invasive device to track my glucose. An iWatch with an accurate feature would be ideal, but honestly, if I could get something that measured with a +/-15% or so would be accurate enough to notify me that I need to do a finger stick to verify if I have a real issue.
