I don't understand the hype as real. It is very bulky to actually sleep with and track sleep. It is also bulky to work out and definitely uncomfortable while performing any other extreme activity. It's own size and bulkiness defeats its purpose and i wish i could return mine for a full refund.
@reallyrandomrides12962 жыл бұрын
@@legee4544 Sorry to hear it's not working out for you. Sometimes it just takes a bit of time to get used to something. Not sure how long you wore it, but I'd give it about three weeks and then see if you feel the same way. It's got a lot of cool features and might be worth putting up with the bulkiness.

Yeah sorry to hear that. I find my ultra watch compared to the garmen epic gen 2 to be very comfortable. Absolutely love the ultra. However the sleep tracking needs to change…like apple get your 💩 together! A guy that works shift work this is just rubbish! Let it just simply track my sleep automatically without a schedule. Other than that as a commercial diver and outdoor man I love the crossover of a smart watch/ dive watch!👍🏽

I'm a pretty active guy and never thought of the importance of an Apple Watch until about a year ago. I used it mainly to break Social Media addiction and wasted screen time. I love tossing my phone in my room and still feeling connected if I get texts or a phone call just from wearing the watch. It has helped a ton getting part of my life back. The fitness features that the watch serves is just an added bonus. Seriously though, if you need to break a social media addiction, get yourself a smartwatch.

the most thing what holds me back from buying an apple watch ist that my garmin fenix 7x has average batteryruntime of 14 to 28 days before you have to reload. depends on how much you use the watch. and i feel the gamrin is more robust build, reminds me more to a g-shock. I had my whole life only casio and later g-shock watches. best watch for me would be a garmin paired with a g-shock. 22:57 the fenix has a real flashlight LED build in. That is by far the most feature i use on a daily bases. It has even white and red light!

Loved the average adventure guy take on the ultra. I'm in the similar bracket of users. My work involves working outdoors (in and out of water mostly), occasional mtb, dive, b-ball, jog. What makes me pull the trigger was the dive comp capabilities as to have a seperate dive comp is good but the cost climbs and can't use the dive comp as a good smart watch and do others sports. Battery and mapping wise sure it's not as good as fenix but for those extreme cases, I bring along a handheld gps anyways. The ultra is a good do it all sport watch. It's a master of none though. Perfect for the average adventure excursions without going to extreme. I've owned Fenix 3, 6., Samsung Watch, OCEANIC OCS dive comp.. I love the ultra cause it can do it all granted that we know it's shortcomings

As a left-handed user, wearing the ultra on your right wrist, has its problems. Thanks for redeeming my purchase by sharing how you use it in a more productive sense than just fitness tracking.. I saw your video and clicked it to see how someone who does what I like to do(off-road adventuring) uses his. Was not disappointed, very practical. I guess the only thing I hate is how easy it is to hit the action button with the back of my hand When carrying things, so I don’t have it assigned. And hate that if you hold the action button, it brings up the emergency screen. If there’s a way to disable that screen, I don’t know about it. But now I use it to set reminders, which I desperately need lol Cheers mate!

@@LastLineOfDefense First and foremost is the size and the flat edge to edge screen. I prefer it so much more over a standard rounded Apple Watch. The battery life is great for my sleep tracking, so its about almost a 2.5 day watch for me. The band backward compatibility is great. I turn off all notifications on my watch, except for messages. This allows it to be a “watch” first, and doesnt bug me all day. Overall, I am a screen fanatic, so if you put high refresh rates and high pixel counts, chances are Ill be buying it 😂

Dude! Don't apologize about your beard! Good for you for giving it another go with your buddies from Beard Brand. I've rocked a beard ever since I could grow one. It's not the best, but not the worst either. I was surprised how much better it looked after 3 and then 6 months. Currently 23 months in with just minor trims every 6 months to get rid of split ends and even it out. I've seen some guys of various ethnicities grow beards, and yeah, for some it's easier. I think it you let it grow a few months, you'll be surprised and impressed. If you're really daring, try Minoxidil or Rogaine, meant for hair on the scalp, but a lot of guys had success with it for beards, plenty of vids here on YT and FB groups, etc. I know this has nothing to do with the Apple Watch review that I came for, but I hope this encourages you and any other dudes out there who have been thinking of growing a beard to just do it.

Hey man, I did watch the beard video and you have a reasonable foundation on the beard actually. I'd go ahead trim all the darker areas down with a 1 guard (Dec 1st of course). That should give you a more "5 o'clock shadow/even look and everything should pretty much blend together. That'll let the wispy areas catch up, keep it all even as time goes on if you want to grow it out.
