It's cheap if you're not creating art on a regular basis but if you make alcohol marker art all the time then Copic is a better deal because one ink refill can fill up a marker multiple times for the cost of just one marker.

I think i like Arteza more. Not because I don’t like the Copic ones, it’s just that the Arteza one give the same quality AND they are more cheaper compared to the Copic ones. anyone else agree? No just me, ok...😢

Just an FYI, Arteza has larger sets as well. I just received a 120 marker set for Christmas and there is a nice range of browns and tans as well. Awesome videos keep it up

On first assessment, I would have to say the Arteza is the winner. Like you said, the colors are bolder and blend really well as far as I can tell on camera. The question I have: are the copic colors you chose, as close to the arteza colors as you could get? I'd be interested in seeing them swatched out side by side to see how the colors line up. I agree that Arteza is putting out some pretty amazing products at great prices. I have been impressed with everything I have purchased thus far. I haven't purchased these markers yet as I am alcohol marker poor right now lol.....Copics, Spectrum noir, Ohuhu, Tocuh five, touch seven.....and then some. Yes, I am a craft hoarder. I need a support group!!!! Thanks for the side by side. Keep up the great work!

Copic side is my favorite. The colors are not so loud. They also appear more natural and believable. I invested in the complete Copic sketch collection and Ciao collection and plan to get accessories for them.

They are now offering a set of 120 colors, so this far exceeds the 60 she mentioned. I've used Arteza products (particularly Acrylic paints) and have found them to be extremely high quality. The price is incredibly low for the markers and they have a 20% off sale today that can put the markers at as low as $1.79 per marker in a set of 60 or $.80 per marker in a set of 120. That's an incredible deal, no matter how you look at it. I'm planning to buy them for my daughter who is an avid card maker and now uses Copic. She'll love it!

I personally prefer the way the Copic markers look (since I like muted colors) but I think the Arteza markers seem great too! It's probably better to buy Arteza if you're a beginner, though. I want all copic markers but yes, to start off something affordable helps a lot. I do like the ohuhu marker case but the arteza case seems like a good idea. Brush nibs are wonderful but the chisel isn't really that hard to work with.

I have a few of them and they honestly suck. They don't last very long and the brush tips fray after only a little bit. :/ Also, they get this funky mold/crumbs on the tips.

For all the hype i've heard for Copic, it seems to me the only thing they really have going for them is the brush nib. like..... Their colors aren't as vibrant, but they blend well. I use Ohuhu, though I have had the chance to play with copics... I think the colors just look better from Arteza and Ohuhu verses copics.

With the Copic markers and what you were talking about at around 8:55-9:05, I feel as if it isn't your selection of colors. Copic markers tend to be lighter than what's on the cap and what the color is expected to look like, just in general. Like you said, Copics are softer and are less bold, and that's for a reason. I believe that reason is easier blending and layering, and if you've noticed the pastel colors like G00 and B00, they're meant for this purpose. So it definitely isn't anything on your part, it's how the markers are made and how they're supposed to function. Arteza products have always been more about bold, pigmented colors and less about softer and easier blending. What I've noticed about all their products is that while they're cheap and affordable, most aren't as professional as they claim to be. I've bought their watercolor products and tried them out, so this is just what I've seen about their products like watercolors, brush pens, and watercolor pencils. I'm most definitely not saying that they're bad products by any means, I'm saying that they're affordable for a reason, and most can't compare to professional watercolors like Qor and White Nights. I haven't tried the Everblends for myself, but they're definitely next on my list as I love working with alcohol markers. Anyways, enough of my rambling. I loved this video, you did a great job! Your techniques when working with these markers are remarkable, and how you color is gorgeous. Cue the applause. Please keep making more videos like this! :)

For this I used procreate and printed my lineart onto marker paper! Normally I use either a Copic or micron multiliner :)
