Ask if the pitcher option can be turned off if desired. If that pitcher were to start to leak, you would need the option of turning it off.

@@Javas_DreamIt can be turned off, but many people report leaking pitchers right at the nozzle with the replacement pitcher leaking as well.

He ain’t lying, my uncle got this fridge less than a year(( samDUNG) and he had it serviced 3 times by their warranty. Less than a year! Me with my 2008 GE refrigerator never had a single service EVER

I guess I’m not really expecting you to respond to this comment as it appears you don’t respond to any comments. However, I’m curious as to why you say the same beverage center is going to fail. Would love to hear the rationale behind that.

The GE pitcher leaks and if it breaks, it’s hard to replace and you can’t get any water without the pitcher.

I've had leaking from a frigidaire that dispensed water from the outer door. I've seen reviews where this pitcher does not leak. Does the leaking involve human error, due to not seating it correctly? If you do have problems, it's important to buy from a reputable seller that will provide service.

@ The leaking comes from a spigot in the bottom of the pitcher that, more often than not, needs to be removed and then reinstalled upon receipt of your brand new fridge. It’s a real pain to do since you really can’t use hand tools in something you’re going to be drinking from. The spigot is not a necessity and GE should give the option to buy pitchers without the spigot. I’ve received three of these pitchers so far and all of them leak out of the box.

You need to be more gentle. You yanked that pitcher out like it was stuck in there. That’s a 2k fridge. Be more gentle. People buy these things and start treating them like it’s a piece of metal and then complaint when they don’t like long.

nope I replace my Samsung to a Kenmore elite from 2002 and I got it clean better if uhh save money buy old one and cheap

I don’t like the water pitcher at all. Eventually any of them are going to leak or fail. Sure it is a neat idea, but I would rather have the option of putting something else in that space.
