Really excellent video, thank you! In my case, the dishwasher was trimmed with wood to make it look a little more integrated with the cabinetry. Possible to pull out but not easy. So instead, I was able to grab the door tensioner ends with a pair of long nose pliers and park them on the little frame "U" channel right under the hinge pivot. This avoided all the disconnect and pulling the unit forward.

Just went thru this repair myself. Grateful for the resources to avoid buying a new expensive dishwasher for now. Took a little longer than expected to take apart but went back together rapidly. My dishwasher had quite a lot of insulation in the door bottom to deal with. I also took the time to clean up various places of scale and funk. Fired her up and success!

This video was very helpful! Walked me through how to get my GDT655 working again. A few slight differences with my model: 1. The hinges don't come out as shown in this video. Still need to take out all the screws, but in addition, there's 4 torx screws that need to come out. They are 2 on each side of door. This needs to be done to get inside panel off. The hinges will stay connected to the outside panel. 2. The plastic filter cap can stay on, because the air vent is attached to the inside panel, and comes off with it. Thank you!

If you had a power outage that can cause this part to stop working. If the dishwasher is an older model and is used a lot that can cause this part to stop working.

Nkt the same washer but got me the general idea. Having issues with the wire or connectors between the main board and the control interface board had to spray contact cleaner in unplug and replug and now dishwasher powers on

What do I set the pins at for my GE dishwasher model GDT605 which is not on this sheet?

We replaced the control board on the bottom of our dishwasher. Got the part from you bc I don’t trust amazon or GE for these parts. It didn’t fix the problem. The time (minutes) has changed for each cycle on the control board and our dishes aren’t drying properly. Will this interface fix that problem?

Generally, for the unit not drying the dishes properly, it could be several things. Make sure you are using a rinse aid, check your use and care manual for more usage information to help with the drying. As for parts that could cause that issue, a bad heating element, high limit thermostat, control board, vent, or touchpad could all cause this issue if they have failed. If you provide your model number we can check for more information specifically for your unit. Did you get to repair your appliance? The model number you have provided appears to be the start of the model number, but in order to look more into this for you we would need to have the full model number.

Are you sure you ordered the correct board? The board I see that you are needing is going to be AP7204355. Our videos are to just help give you a general idea on how to do the repair. Can anyone comment on semi regular beeping in the days before failure. Seems our dishwasher was trying to inform us but I've never found a published code syntax.

What is your model number? How many beeps did it do? Did you have any type of power outages?
