Hannah i have not even started the video i have it paused because i am coming to you with urgent breaking news: there is a grey blush!!! Nuse beauty (sister to k-brand Rom&nd) has a set of blushes out where there are 4 shades + 1 white blush + 1 grey blush, to mix and match, and i think their mauve colour mixed in with both the grey and white would potentially give you the chewed gum colour!!! I rushed over here as soon as i learnt of it 💜 Mmkay that's all, I'll start watching now 💗

This is perhaps niche... but could you give us a tutorial (even a mini one as part of another video if that's easier) on how you blur/blend lip products with your finger? It perhaps should be obvious but I don't know how to blend with my finger without the product getting all over my face. 😂 And then what do you do with your pigmented finger? Do you have a makeup eraser on hand? Micellar water? Please tell me I'm not the only one amazed by how you do this and how it looks on camera afterwards!

Here is what I do, because I like to blur out my lipsticks: I apply the lipstick to my cupid's bow (because I like a sharp line there), and then to the middle part of my upper and lower lips. I avoid applying to the outer third (i.e. the corners of my mouth) or up/down to the vermillion border anywhere except the cupid's bow. I then mush my lips together to warm up the product a little bit, and then run my pinky along the length of my lips to blur out the edge of the lipstick. Lastly I use the lipstick on my pinky to softly color in the outer corners of my lips, which I do with my mouth all the way open so that the corners are stretched out. This way I get a sheerer, softer shape at the corners. I usually have just a little product left on my pinky, and I can wipe it off on a handkerchief, tissue, or washcloth. I hope that description makes sense. I don't think it's exactly what Hannah does, but it's what I've figured out for my own face after seeing her and others blur their lipstick out.

Hearing you talk about the Isamaya gloss made the think about how you might perfer their lip balm in the black shade Vanity! They've now got a refill version that is cheaper (and less suspiciously shaped) than the original and it's become a favourite of mine for days where i want something natural but has a bit of oomph. I also use it to desaturate my lip liners that are too bright!

The finish is “wet and gel-like” and they look like goopy lip gloss in an eyeshadow pan! And, of course, the pictures are beautiful. Funny you talk about lipgloss wands, I also learned that about myself. However, my preferred is the chunky lip oil applicator or a metal tip like the Refy. Also, for pot products, Amazon sells silicone lip brushes with tops. I detest applying anything with my fingertips. These may help your issue like it helped me.

As I was watching this, it came to me that even though I think my skin tone is similar to yours, part of what looks natural on you when you do these darker brown lip colors is that they balance well with your brows. I have soft brows and don't feel like enhancing them looks good on my face, so when I wear those dark colors, they are the only dark thing on my face and really look a bit goth. Luckily, that's fine with me, and other people seem to agree, but it's interesting to see it illustrated so clearly. I would love to have a face that looked good with a bold brow, but I'll just admire yours. (I like mine, too.)

Oh this is so à propos, I'm in the market for one or two lipstick and Hannah's lips are the only one I trust! 😂😂 meaning we have the same undertone and whatever it is that makes almost ALL 'color lip makeup' look statement. I wish I could buy a drugstore lipstick but where I live there usually isn't a tester for drugstore makeup, and I always end up having to buy more than one to get a color I like.

The way color plays on different people/lips is wild. Merit Tiger on me looks the same that 1990 looks on you. I can describe Tiger the same way you do for 1990; An effortless balm more than a lipstick. I can put it on blindly, my HG lip product forever. Simply wild how red it looked on you here. For reference I'm 9/10 times the lightest shade of foundation/concealer, but I'm neutral undertone leaning cool.

I know you just went through a declutter, but I find that I really love the same lip colors as you do (Juvia’s Place coffee is one of my top 10), and I just tried Ravie Beauty’s Effortless Lips in Zinnia, and it is the best “your lips but better” product I have ever used. I am a pale neutral, not olive, so I don’t know if it will be exactly as on the money for you, but I definitely think you should try it if you haven’t yet.
