I think that in IT most of the job postings are like that. Laymen (read: HR) is usually completely oblivious to the fact that the applicant knows/has worked with related technologies (e.g. Docker but not Kubernetes, Travis but not Jenkins etc.) and tends to filter out applicants based on this. Thus I think that it's perfectly fine that Joshua implied that he's not qualified for them, because strictly speaking he was NOT qualified for them.

The thing I enjoy most about your videos is that you are not worried about image to the corporate world. To me that translates to receiving REAL information and not sugar coated bullshit. What I mean is, a lot of these other videos corporate leaders and HR specialists post are deemed something that isn't entirely true because they work for corporate themselves and don't want to betray their nature. Hope this makes sense, I apologize if it doesn't.

Don't do it man. Stack overflow, udemy, Edx, teamtreehouse, codecademy, khan academy, w3 schools, youtube, and udacity are all amazing tools and if you purchased 500 udemy courses($7500), youtube premium for a year to speed up learning while avoiding adds($120year), teamtree house ($600 for a year), all of codecademies premium courses($800) and 3 advanced udacity courses ($3000) and utilize everything else (it's free) *total spent*:*$12020* you'll save $8000. Those bootcamps cram you into twelve 70 hour weeks and 1 on 1 is rare 2 maybe 3 instructors to a class. You're expected to keep up and you have to pass a test to even qualify. They charge you $20,000 and some of them make 10% on top of the wage you're paid by the companies they're promising to get you into, for the next 2 years. People pay it because they believe they come out a full stack developer and they think it guarantees them a job but there is soooo much to coding and deployment 840 hours is no where near enough to get you that high paying wage you're hoping to make. 70 hour weeks you can assume 20 of that goes out the window through fighting mental fatigue and you'll spend an extra 10-15 hours trying to push yourself through it because it's made to sound like a competition and they want to make as much off of you as soon as they can. Ontop of that the 90% of students that get a job they advertise is hogwash. They know how to build a website and putting in those numbers is to convince you that it's worth it. Some of them even talk about the average salary (which is of developers with 5 years experience on average) of 65k+ a year. Out of 4 students I contacted (check out their linkedin pages you can get the truth really quickly) about their programs 2 of them were found a job and they were making $12-$15/hour 1 of them isn't even coding and the last one found her own job they all regretted it. Stack overflow is an amazing community you post what you're stuck on and theres a ton of helpful developers that don't just give you what you need to fix the problem you're having they explain what you did wrong, how it works, best practices. Khan academy is amazing for math refreshers, codecademies free courses are more than enough to get you to understand a language. Edx is free and they're harvard courses. Take your time make sure you really understand what's happeneing in the code you're writing and don't build the application videos are teaching you build your own using the videos and upload everything to github. If you have 10 working projects and you're resume is a custom built webpage (don't use bootstrap or other frameworks prove yourself) or you have an app in the appstore you'll find a job

remote oregon isnt a town in oregon, it just means its remote, for people in oregon. this is because they dont want to have to have HR people who know labor laws etc... for every state. Also, if especially for online retailers, your customers pay tax if you have any staff in that state, so often they want staff in as few states as possible.
