I had the same problem with the lyrics at first what you mentioned, but I have to admit, that it kind of disappeared after listening this song like ten times...now it does not bother me at all and I think they fit in very well :)

Enjoying your videos! I love the Sons of winter and stars-video, its the best song ive ever heard together with this one. I have listened to Wintersun for a very, very, long time, as soon he left Ensiferum. Ensiferum did some really great songs with him, but now...no thanks. Im actually starting to cry sometimes when I listen to this and Sons of Winter, because they are so amazing. :D Lovely feeling.

Just a suggestion, once you finish The Forest Seasons album reacts. They have a documentary on the making of the album with a lot of bits of the recording process. My favorite is the part where they are recording the giant choir for the Summer song.

Interesting critique! I haven't seen it that way but fair enough. Of course, Loneliness is better but then again, that song is so amazing that not even Jari himself can top it with each song he produces. Loneliness is in the league of its own. I think the autumn song gets pretty close though.

I do agree with the lyric thing, he's struggling to fit the lyrics in, like if you'd try and come up with a clean melody of singing them, you have a really hard time having it make sense with the beat, but it really is a tiny issue Also I'd add that with this song I really think that replacing 1 or 2 growl sections with clean vocals would've added much more because in both halves of the song, when clean vocals kick in, the song just elevates to a whole new level of epic, so I feel like doing another clean section would make it even better, but that's just me. also I'm still gonna nag you to react to lost horizon :D

They don't really have music videos because they disbanded after 2 absolutely perfect albums back in 2005 but they're still legends to this day.

Also, I know this is a matter of opinion, but I actually don't feel like he's struggling, to me it feels more like he's telling a story and it just so happens to somehow kinda fit into the epic tune that's playing in the meantime. Like some epic monologue underlined with music. It doesn't always stay within the given melody but instead it works well independently.

Interesting review man, I never though about the tempo of the lyrics, I don't know if I agree, but you have an nice point. But I agree that Loneliness is better (The better of the album and one of the best of Wintersun too). When you guys finish to hear to new record I hope to see some of their old stuff like Battle Against Time and Winter Madness. And I will suggest to you guys check out more In Flames please :) They have fantastic stuff from the old material like Dead Eternity, December Flower, Jotun and Gyroscope, but there isn't music videos from this ones just lyric videos, but I have that this isn't a problem
