(Them UV Rays can be intense.) I had schedules printed out. (People didn't have to keep asking, When does it start? What time is at maximum? How long does it last?) And of course, extra eclipse glasses and phone camera filters. (Gotta save the retinas and digital cameras.) A good time was had by all.

This will be my 5th solar eclipse to have watched. And I have seen 11 lunar eclipse. They are amazing to see , but people shouldn't freak out , they are something natural to the Earth, just like the Aurora Borealis , or volcanos , comets, or anything else that's amazing. The problem with looking at eclipses unlike the full sun is... you can. So, people keep staring at it, and this can cause retinal burns, which can be permanent. Best to be cautious and avoid the risks.
