Watching my garden grow a little each day is my favorite part of gardening. Thank you for sharing your garden videos so now I can watch your garden grow too! I love it so much I started filming garden videos too. I am in my 3rd year of gardening and still have so much to learn. I hope we can learn more from each other!

What a beautiful mix of flowers and veg. I'm increasing the number of flower varieties this year to feed my wife's voracious appetite for cut flowers 🌻 Seems everyone has a Charles Dowding 60 cell trays LOL In the 70s it was said that 80% of cars had a Dire Straits audio cassette in the glove box! If only I could think of something ....

We had the wettest April on record in the pacific northwest and it appears to be continuing for at least the next 10 days. I'm ready for a little warmer (and drier) weather! Love you bee dress! Bees have a very special place for me as they remind me of my granddaughter Abbi. Neil in Oregon

A gorgeous plot. I admire all the hard work you have done. I plan to protect my redcurrants with mini organza bags … it will look odd but the birds can decimate the fruits in a day . Bewaaaare .

I love seeing your alotment changing as the months go by and it looks really lovely. But I get so jealous and long to be able to start growing flowers, shrubs, trees, fruit and vegetables in the garden I'm working so hard on creating. For a number of reasons I can't do it this year - my dream house is going to be built and is going to be disruptive for the next 8 months - so I have to be patient and learn from you each month.

Enjoyed your tour looks like a great place to spend a day. I thought your comment on you apple tree coming out much earlier then normal interesting. I use to think the same thing till I started writing down what I saw around the garden on the same week every year. I discovered things didn’t move too much from its appointment time. I learned that red light waves from the angle of the sun determined more when things would happen then temperatures. It would be interesting if you discover the same or perhaps not. I also tried your potatoes in a tub last year worked great, thx for the tip. Looking forward to the next tour.

Katrina the Dalia's will get through the woodchip no problems at all. I mulch mine every year and leave them in my beds, they amaze me each season and I will never bother digging them up as they do fine under a mulch. I'm In Sleaford, Lincolnshire so not that far from you at all 👍

A awesome & beautiful allotment April tour video Katrina. Yes it's been a dry April but hopefully it's not as wet as last May was but some rain would be appreciated because it's been dry in Scotland too ( which is unusual). We'll probably get 3 weeks or more ( depends on when this drought ends) rain in a few days when this drought ends or may regret wanting rain if it rained every day.

I love watching your tours. Being in the North of Scotland our planting schedule is a little later than yours, I've just planted my Charlotte's and my new herb bed is starting to fill out. Got lots of lavender planted undercover. The two new trees this year, different varieties of Japanese Maple, are loving their new home and growing well. Completely off topic, my daughter would like to know where you got your dress, she's obsessed with bees.
