I'm also looking forward to Eva in general, cuz a common theme in Danganronpa's been red herrings, throwing in someone too on-the-nose, someone who draws too much suspicion to be able to actually try anything until the very end, if at all. So what kind of arc could a reputed Ultimate Liar have in store? Listening to Revelation got me thinking about that after imagining a whole case to the track. This is just a guess I came up with, but I think a good liar knows when to tell the truth. Not just because a good liar doesn't get caught. Not just because you can only get caught in so many lies before your reputation precedes you. Not just because honesty is more deceptive when you're expected to be lying. But because a bad liar doesn't know when NOT to lie.

So if i understand Kokichi is a bad liar ? Because he even don't know what is saying,i see that ,kokichi use his lies to manage them to hate him but he don't know how to stop,so he pretend to be a villain and he cry when he finally tell the truth to kaito. And you can see that he don't who to stop because his "friend " don't believe his last words expect kiibo. Yeah this is would interessing to see another liar And maybe she could be better than kokichi lie.

Kokichi was constantly calling out his own lies, I think because he was more focused on selling his character and teaching everyone else to show more skepticism. Looking back, the exit tunnel with Kaede seems to be when Kokichi figured out the game was using their hopes against them to wear down their reservations against doing what it wanted. And that was when he decided to push back by being a thorn in everyone's side, but it was also when he realized he could no longer safely drop the act. Whenever something actually did genuinely affect him emotionally, all he had to do was let everyone believe (or else tell everyone) that it was just another act. But disbelief also worked against him, because no one had reason to believe him when he honestly didn't know something he was expected to (5th case). Now, to his credit, there was one lie Kokichi always sold successfully. Despite everything, no one ever thought to doubt his title as ultimate supreme leader like they doubted everything else about him. Or two lies, if you count him declaring himself the mastermind, although Shuichi had already begun doubting that claim before he could disprove it. But despite him having the sharpest lie detection senses out of everyone in V3, there was someone whose honesty was never questioned, someone whose lies were never noticed until a reviewed cross-examination between alibis and evidence left no choice. Someone whose whole persona revolved around hiding in PLAIN sight.

@@verdantViridity all you said is a lie ,just KIDDING dude,well you said all about kokichi caracteres and you should know that kokichi like rantaro and kaede because they hate the killing game and they manage to do a plan . But rantaro and kaede got killed by tsumugi shirogane (i know about the 1st trial ). And Kokichi see the mistake because if he manage to do like kaede or rantaro he could make a big mistake. At least kokichi was very smart he know how to use his lie or find the true about the outside a,also he was the first charactes in danganronpa v3 that monokuma didn't know who is the Killer (5th Class trial) . The only succes of kokichi lie is all the hint and proof if he didn't was very Smart he would find the true about the outside world. This is why Shuichi figured out the true because of kokichi plan and lies. Yes ,kokichi is truly a genius and lies. This is why i love kokichi and all is lies .He even explain about what lie is . Just like a teacher even we are the same age. And i hate you. This is a lie . Let's become friend 😁

I understand their reasons for making this but everytime game devs do this it makes me sad. Games not out yet so they try to guage audience interest with stupid community events and contests. I don't even like Danganronpa anymore and It's literally been like a year. A year is ok I guess, but depending on how long it will take, the game will probably just lose a lot of fan interest. Personally, Danganronpa 2 was the best and V3 was a great send off to the series and I'm starting to feel like maybe we shouldn't have anymore killing games after all.

@@LatchinOn I'm just tired of the concept, its just mush to me now, I don't see what could be different. Its anime characters in a detective killing game wow so poggers done 4 times already lo (or like 6 if you count Nonary Games) Its kinda like Battle Royales in a way, they used to be cool but now the market is oversaturated. DG 1, 2 and V3 all had their strengths and I feel like V3 was probably the best way to send off the series. The way I think about it is DG 1 introduced the concept, DG 2 did it again, but added a plot twist to make things more interesting, and DG V3 did similarly to 2, but the plot twist at the end was actually really good and well thought out, but most people didnt like it cus they were still on that crave, but once you become like me, you'll learn to love it, I suppose.

I really don't get your point about the community events. Most media whether it be video games, film or whatever do some kind of marketing for it first and it serves two purposes. One, it gauges audience interest like you said. But two, it also just gives the community something to do in the mean time. And also about the concept being overdone, I personally don't think it is since there's such a variety of scenarios for it I think they can make it interesting. And finally if you feel that way and are tired of danganronpa, why are you here watching this?

@@WilliamSanders1111 I feel like its great for developers to be in touch with their audience and talk to them (unlike Valve....), but hosting popularity contests and stuff like that just feels annoying to me. It feels almost like you're stalling in a way, just give us more devlogs and updates on how the game is going. I believe that it is overdone, after playing DG1, DG2, watching DG3, playing DGV3, thats 3 games, 1 anime, 1 spinoff (UDG), etc. It has been done to death (ha) at this point. I don't see how any fan projects or other games can do something similar and be unique. If you want something similar to Danganronpa, but something unique, Check out the Nonary Games, made by the same publisher. 999 and Virtues Last Reward are some of the best games I've played recently and are a lot more mature than Danganronpa. Perhaps another Danganronpa spinoff would also be great since I really enjoyed UDG, it was a nice break away from ye olde kill game formula. And finally, I'm still here because I'm still interested in the development. With a lot of failed projects that have happened recently, I'm interested in seeing if this project will still succeed after its founder resigned over some petty drama. Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing misfortune on the game, I'm just interested to see if all of it is going to go to waste or not. I think the argument of "Why are you still here lol" is weak when compared to videogames, movies, etc. A lot of people who don't like those videogames or movies, play and review them. If YMS had info that the Lion King 2019 was going to suck, would he just not review it at all? Ofcourse he would still review it, its a stupid argument to say he wouldn't. In the same vein, I am still interested, but I don't like where the project and its community is going, I find the community to be annoying at times.
