I literally discovered this instrument today from an add on Facebook and instantly thought "I NEED this!" It's coming tomorrow and this video helped a lot, as someone who is a first timer this instrument has an interesting play style and after guitar and ocarina I know how weird playing new instruments can be when your not used to it. Thanks to that video I think I understand the notes much better now and will find it easier to adapt! Thanks April! :)

Today I just inboxed my very first Kalimba which is a Dual Kalimba April Yang. And comes with a black speaker. I also chose walnut. It's so pretty! But there was no picture of April Yang in it. And I also seem to be missing the WHITE USB PORT to plug charging cable into. So now what do I do? Lol!!! What kind of charging port is that and how can I get it? And there was only one set of stickers in it. I seem to remember watching a KZbin unboxing of the same Kalimba I have and there was extra sticks. Nothing was on it but it was yellow. I wondered if it was to place on top of the tines like a black and red sticker I've sometimes seen on a kalimba to put on 5 different keys and then put the number/ letter clear sticker on top of it. I guess it's suppose to make it easier to follow. But I didn't see any black or red stickers. Should I go somewhere online to find some other stickers? Also there was only 1 set of stickers for the Kalimba and it shows numbers on it. Not any actual letters like I've seen on other Kalimbas. So I don't know what letters each key is or if I should go somewhere to buy the letters for it. I did see somebody on KZbin that put red short tabs on 5 different key tunes on their Kalimba and then they placed all their clear key stickers on there and whenever they reached the tine that had a red sticker on it that placed the key and letter tab on top of that. My manual is written in Chinese it even came with a song book. It's all useless to me cause it's written in Chinese. Is there a good beginners booklet to get that will show me what I need to know about my Kalimba? And hopefully one that comes with a DVD tutorial? I taught myself how to play Ukulele 4 years ago just by watching KZbin video tutorials. But I don't know why the only stickers I got is numbers. Ugh! I don't understand how I'm suppose to learn songs if it says letters and all I have is numbers. My Kalimba is suppose to be in key C. And the stickers are just numbers but I need to know what letters need to be on there too that did NOT come with the pkg. Honestly I'm very frustrated it didn't come with the letters and just left me a beginner in the dark... Seriously it's all new too me. I don't know how to read music for piano or Kalimba. I ONLY know how to read tabs for Guitar or Ukulele. That is so much easier. This looks to be more difficult. Atleast others have letters AND numbers and a proper guide. I dont... Not sure what to do... Frustrated with it already. Lol The Kalimba is very beautiful but I see this is going to be more challenging then I thought. Cause I don't even know what to look out for or when a buzzing happens what to do to get rid of the buzzing It seems there is just alot of different things too it. I don't know how to properly use the hammer to tune. And what digital tuner is the best to buy for my Kalimba? And what key did it come in? That's another thing. What good does a digital tuner do me when I don't even know what each key it's suppose to be. Honestly learning Ukulele was a thousand times faster. I was already playing 5 songs in my first week after getting my first Ukulele. Cause it was easy to learn and follow. I clearly underestimated the Kalimba...
