Next time provide a microphone for the owner as well so we could hear him better :) Great review nonetheless.. I own a Dorso 750 with Arrows myself.. It's a beast of a bike! I think few bikes can beat the sound of that V twin rumble.. One of the disadvantages of the bike is a small fuel reservoir.. you are always in a search for a gas station, especially if you are pushing the bike in S all the time. Top speed is more than 202km/h.. and torque power is immense when you want to overtake.. I've had people with stronger nakeds telling me that Dorso pulls much faster when accelerating. Cheers

Have to agree re the stupidly lean mixture. Mine runs crap unless the engine has been running for hours and is really hot. Several mods to the feedback from the Lambda make a huge difference to the low speed drivability and torque output of the bike. I have only just fitted the mod and have owned the bike 10 years. It feels like the engine has 50% more capacity. Superb build quality, rubbish fuel range E5/10 fuel swells tank so always leave the talk empty or full to the brim to prevent water ingress.

@bextr0 depends where you are riding, if it's in Europe or the States with highway toll road, the 1200 would be preferable, in southeast Asia with only narrow roads 750 is a killer

The Dorsoduro is not a competition for the Ducati Hypermotard 1100. I owned a Dorsoduro and then sold it and bought the Ducati. There is no comparison. Although the Dorsoduro is a very good bike, the hyper is a monster. It is the best motorcycle I have ever owned

Yes Ducati is another thing . I sold it for a 1290 super duke R and you should try it also. I'm in a search for a Dorsoduro for city and short trips
