@2:25 this right here is the difference between Maxy and Wristy. Our boy slowed down and warned the riders behind him about that scary corner, Wristy would bait people into it so he could get some more crash content. I hate seeing MaxWrist videos featured on DDFM and other channels and people in the comments trashing Max, not knowing the channel used to be the two of them and is now only Wristy.

Issues? Rod bearing recall was done the 1st month on sale, only other consistent issue was a weeping oil line. Snug it up! I rode my rsv4 50k with the last 12k all track miles. I changed the starter solenoid. Nothing more. Don't be afraid of a bike with this much character.

Great ride - Top notch. An extra star for staying on your side of the road. That is the tell tell sign that a man has learn to ride on the streets. Nice pace through the turn all the while staying on your side of the road. The RS 660 is the best bike for this job. The 1000's are too much and the 300s are not quite enough for great riders like yourself. Aprilia really has hit a grand slam with this bike. I'll take this bike over any bike made. I'm a RTH rider and the Aprilia RS 660 is my bike of choice. The RTH stands for Road, Track and Hood. Great Video. Cheers!

Have you had any issues with that bike yet? I wanted one until I heard about all of the problems they were having so I'm leaning more towards the r7 for everyday riding or wait to see if kawasaki is really going to come out with a zx7r.

What is the rev light set at? Is this bike in the brake in period? My 660 has a power band between 7,000 and 9,800ish. I have mine set at 10,500 and a rarely see more than one maybe two yellow lights. Obviously banging it off the rev limiter is not a good idea. Just wondering.

I have mine set to 11500 and I shift right before the limiter, faster pulls, better for street racing and so forth. I was wonder the same thing tho. I have a full akra, upmap, stacks, and filter. What have you done to yours so far?

This bike is more rideable on the street as it is a twin vs a 4 cylinder, the rpm’s aren’t as high as an r6 but the power and torque will be about the same and the seating position on this bike is 100x better than your average supersport, since I commute 5 days out the week into San Francisco, the tuono 660 factory is the better buy imo

What does way too bouncy mean? I’m looking at this from at this from someone thag wanted a sports bike initially but started on a single thumper adv. I’m keeping the adv for touring/off-road But I want a more Highway friendly bike also. Twisties is a must for me but bouncy as meaning it’s too light? Suspension?

@@saulcr839 the Yamaha will run forever and you'll have a lot of dealer support however the rs660 will be more fun has more power and better electronics. Plus looks nicer. You might have to travel an hour or two to get to a dealer unless there is one in your city but the Aprilia is gonna be better. Plus you'll be the only one in your area riding one most likely

@@justinturk5035 I've had a factory tuono 1100 since they came out in 15-16, still in love with it. Just be strict with services (dont skip them) and you will have many many miles of fun. Also when you are done with the original tires, bridgestone s21 or s22 are just fantastic and usually better priced than pirellis

@@justinturk5035 You absolutely made the right choice, would only ever go for the R7 instead if you don't have the extra bucks for the Aprilia, otherwise the RS660 is superior in every way. It's faster, has way more electronics, is a bit lighter than the Yamaha and sounds amazing for a parallel twin (the R7 is still a great bike tho).

@@daveo7109 if you are certain you are gonna sell in 2 years to get another bike it is better you get a used bike, it will usually drop less in price (if at all). I had a shiver 750 (low mileage, original owner only did 10k kilometers) for about 2 years, paid 4500€ for it, sold for 4000€ with 25k kilometers. Basically same price
