Aprilia SXV 550 after several fixes

This one was a real bastard.
It had problems with start, than it was running for 10 sec and die. Power was about 40%.
Things I done:
Timming set properly
valve clearances set
custom map with low rev count + TP + CO set
one of injectors replaced
harness repaired
fuses replaced
TPS sensor replaced
Throttle Boddies synchronized
Sprag clutch replaced
grooved ring on sprag clutch replaced
and probably more that I don't even remember.
Now its starts cold/hot like champ
Final CO/OFFSET setting will be done, when weather is better.

A tutorial about syncing the throttle bodies with the carbtune tool would be cool! Good running bike you got there!

its not that difficult - you connect two lines (same lengh/diameter) from the port at the throttlebodies. You look at your gauges and set the rear throttle body to the values of the front throttlebody by loosening the screw for the linkage. Hope that helps.

Than you definately must work on it, so it works as it should. Once setup correctly - those bikes are just awesome !

are you in the us can you fix mine? when i pull the choke down it dies. sometimes when choke up idle goes up and down. sometimes it will stay on without the choke but the fact that idle goes down by it self the biek shuts off cause it idles below 1800

sorry for late answer. Basically without XV Tuner cable it is very hard to set up those bikes. You can do some stuff like Throtle Boddies syncronization and idle setup - but usually it is not enough. Those bikes are special. From time to time I have clients comming to me 500km to have their SXV/RXV prepared correctly. Once you have XV Tuner cable I can guide you. GL
