I traded in my GS1250 last week for this bike and I absolutely love it. I quite honestly don't feel the need for a quick shifter as the gearbox is so smooth and there is no effort at all as of second gear when changing up or down. In live in Paris and this month the bike comes with the IMU as standard. Does make me laugh when I hear "busy".😂 I spend half of my daily commute between two lines of cars and the drivers never indicate. Take care and ride safe

You mentioned the lack of a quick shifter but it's my understanding you can get it as an option. Appreciate you checking on the "flat" spot in the rev range that I've read about. And quit worrying about how much you chat, it's your damn video, do as you wish! Thanks Griff......

yeh, you can get the quickshifter and IMU as options, but it then becomes more expensive than the RS660! :(

From a Tuono 660 owner, the no quick shifter was taking the piss in my opinion. I think they should have left it as standard. Other than that, really pleased with mine.

You can retro fit the shifter,but be warned the kit is about £200 from aprilia but you will need also the rs imu at about £450, that makes an expensive option!!

Cornering abs? What is this "abs" witchcraft you speak of? I am about to return to the rsv club and mea culpa for ever drifting away...for me that means a thumping rotax between the legs with a direct link to throttle and a little electrickery to make it run. No rider aids just raw visceral pig fed on beans gruntery. Still, the 660 seems to have done Aprilia proud by breaking the mold and launching the best middleweight probably ever.

Does Aprilia have a comparable older bike, I mean around 600cc (or less)? I'm looking for a beginner bike. I really like Aprilia's, but won't and can't buy a 1000cc bike.
