Aptera embodies hope. For that reason I've been critically putting away spare pennies and avoiding eating out so I can become a full investor. It is a daring, daring risk and a promise personally needed money for myself could be lost, but I'd rather support the chance for my ancestors to have a better life and lose the money, than have lived never inconvenienced by consuming their future, their functional ecosystem my children's children would need. If this succeeds I WILL have been a part of giving them a chance at life that would otherwise not have been. Plus, I know I'm going to love owning it!

I agree that it is not a great time for Aptera to IPO, but then again I have always thought that Aptera needs to wait until production has started and their EVs have had several positive reviews. Then Aptera will have proven that they could get enough financing to start production, and that all of the simulations of efficiency, solar range, performance, handling, practicality and crash protection have been confirmed.

Thanks, Dean. Some aggressive companies do go public before product launch, but they likely are priced for that increased risk. I believe there is plenty of funding out there to get them to production before IPO . Charge on!

Aptera never considered going public at this time! They will wait until after production starts and show that Aptera is an established business. That will not happen for at least a year from today or longer. We will not know that until production starts and how long production takes to be efficient.

Thanks for your comments. We are all speculating, I look at the financial markets all the time, and this is a factor when to time an IPO. Aptera could could, if they want to, go public now in a reverse merger just to raise the money. They would not, though, likely receive the best valuation. Charge on!

@@Rich1Rodriguez I think we are hoping that something is happening behind the scenes but we might be careful for what we wish for. Given the amount of money that is needed, still over $100M, a large or couple of large investors could own more than a 50% interest in Aptera. Big money has big control strings and then Steve and Chris have to negotiate with others to get things done. I would have thought Aptera to have already applied for the DOE loan. I was amazed that they had not applied for the loan before the first of the year. Do you have any insight into why they might not be applying or have delayed applying for this loan? It seems to me that this DOE loan is a huge win for everyone involved. Chris & Steve remain in control, investors don't get their money diluted and customers get our vehicle sooner than later. At this point the earliest we will see vehicles is 2024 and most of us, even early registration holders will not see a vehicle until 2025. I'm just puzzled as to why Aptera would have delayed applying? When I read the application, it looked like Aptera would be the ideal company for such a loan. My only thought on the application delay is that money tends to have very conservative strings. "Go with what is proven" type of thinking and the Aptera is a radical paradigm change that it is too much of a good thing. It shows how bad the establishment or automakers are they are not even getting half the efficiency of the Aptera.

We are charging on! My new 10 kW solar system is doing wonderful. I’ll probably make a video that this summer and include the other home decarbonization improvements that I did this summer.
