@@162maths Hi. I found that the questions weren't as hard as I thought they would be but I made silly mistakes. I know this because I compared some of my answers with my friend who always gets a 9 and got 80/80 in his mocks. Hopefully I didn't do too bad and can still get that 7 with the other 2 papers

@@ingridgz0 Thats good to hear, I think the paper had some different questions than past, but i think if more time and maybe not in exam conditions the big mark questions wouldve been better answered. Also a hint on how to started would also have helped

14:04, i dont understand where you got the 60 from to divide it by 2 and why are you using the number 60. Can anyone help please?

So 20 lines cost £12 which means 1 line is 60p this is equal to 2 parts (from the ratio) so to find one part you have to divide by 2 so you get 1 part equals 30p

Select a past paper. Do it in exam conditions. Make a note of the questions you got wrong topic wise. Revise or learn the topic. Do the topic tests on those topics and then move on to another past paper and repeat.

for 29A, lets say it was shifted to the right, will the equation be x-3 or will it remain ×+3? thank you

for q11, is the length of a rectangle always double the height? for example the length is 2x and the height is x in this question, if that makes sense

In this case yes as from the diagram, two horizontal rectangles is the same height as a vertical one.. hope that makes sense

Hi Sir, I got a grade 6 in this paper (35/80) but I need to get a grade 8 to do maths for A levels and my exams are a now less than a month away. What can i be doing to increase my grade?

When you get questions wrong on past papers ask yourself was it the question, a silly mistake or that you have no idea on the topic? Then work on this. Don’t just do past papers. The audits are really good as too are topic tests. Remember every papers has different questions esp the 3+ mark questions

Sometimes it’s best to focus on what you can do and the 50/50 topics rather than focus on the harder more level 8 topics. Need to aim for 70%

Why do you times the semi circles #1 and #2 by 2 in question 18?

It’s because it’s a double sided shape. The front and back are the same
