Aquaculture workers raise concerns about the phase out of fish farms

I saw a story years back on CBC network about a fish farm in Prince George B.C., It had salmon on the outer part swiming in an artificial current which kept them a lot healthier. Inside of the tank area was a greenhouse which could feed the fish and their poop was screened out to fertilise the plants in the greenhouse. It seems it would be simple to put up a large dome greenhouse with vertical growing and the tank for fish to swim in a circle with a current. Far more easy to maintain and control than open ocean and no danger to wild stocks. This should be made law immediately.

finally, after decades of pollution and 95% loss of wild salmon, some relief. the interview is biased they had a decade to design a filtration system around the cages to isolate them from polluting and infecting their surrounding, but greed had shut them down and hurr hard working good people.
