Hey this is Scuba Steve from the video. Let me explain what happened. I had expected to walk for 5-10min what ever the tank would give me. It was 50% full, and I drained it in two minutes. The trident was HEAVY, I felt like I was dragging it. It caused me to take massive deep breathes, and I am a marathon swimmer so have some lungs. It drained in 2 min. That was all I could get from it.

For those not from Ontario, Tobermory is an insane place to test that thing. that water is insanely cold. I paddle all over southern Ontario and that part of the Georgian Bay is the coldest water by a long shot. Especially early in the season. I'm a multidisciplinary engineer that worked in R&D labs for over 10 years (settled in software engineering for rea$on$) and this sort of project is exactly the sort of stuff I loved working on. Pulling together fluid dynamics, manufacturing and electronics to make a unique machine is what engineers dream of. I know Hacksmith is a fairly small operation and a lot of your projects are built by interns but I would love to see you guys bring in some seasoned R&D engineers for some of these projects. Jacob did a great job but I think with a little bit more guidance this prototype could have been much more successful. Great ideas, good first try, but I think reconsidering a few small aspects of the design would have amazing results. Cheers

Hear me out: a semi gravity gun that used super powerful electromagnets in some sort of way that allows it to make metal float. Without it sticking to the front PS: I know this seems very difficult but these are the guys that have made plasma based light sabers so I believe
@WellChuffed6 ай бұрын
Edit: I would assume this would be made by an electromagnet bringing the metal close then a sensor turns of the main attractor and some form of ring made of electromagnets pull from all sides.
