I have changed every tank, even the smallest hatch tanks, to water pumps. It's nostalgic, hearing the bubbles at a pet shop, but at home, or if you have to work for hours with your tanks, it starts eventually to annoy you. Also, fish's can hear and nearly at no habitat, our aquarium inhabitants live in, you have such a soundscape.

You are a good man Cory. These vids are so genuine and make wanna invest more of myself back into the hobby. Dean's fish room is goals. I really like how your opinion is very well balanced on everything and not being just a horrible marketing executive haha 👍🤣 I watch all your vids and keep going. They helped me learned a lot and always put me in a good mood. Thank you very much.

Man, seeing Dean's fishroom just inspires me to do better! And I wish I watched this earlier so that I would have known to ditch that airstone for the Ziss brine shrimp hatchery because that is literally the only issue I have with the system.

Fun fact most distilleries will buy old wine barrels and char/season the inside before they use them for their whiskey. We use to repurpose old whiskey barrels to make wine in and when aged long enough would get a nice brandy flavor due to being old whiskey barrels

I’d love to see a couple different outdoor pond ideas and set ups. I’m going to need to consider adding a few ponds outside. I bought 7 (one was accidentally a female) endler’s last October 2022. I can’t even count how many endler’s I have now. Might have to sell them off? I started out with a 4 gallon cube, and a ten gallon tank. I had to recently purchased two 20 gallon long, a 40 gallon breeder and a 55 gallon. Shame to only have endler’s in them all. .. I love endler’s but I really would like to keep something else, too. Shopping for racks today. Concerning my dining room to my fish room 🫶🏻🐟🐡🧊I love these videos.. wish you guys were in Southern California ❤

Good Idea for Cory. Have extensions on your sponge filters so that you can make the tube longer and then a 45 degree attachment to get the flow moving. Longer tube gives you more suction through the filter so to say.

Hi just a question for Dean if I may? Can you use the spoon trick to collect a dwarf gourami nest and hatch fry in a container (before putting them in a tank to grow out)? I have had a happy Male dwarf gourami and his two females happily spawn in their own tank several times, but currently have nowhere to remove the adults to and haven't been able to successfully hatch any fry.

Dean: Where did you get the square containers you have bettas in above the brine shrimp? When housing bettas efficiently in ways such as that, what is your favorite creative option? Love the splotchy cory cat(?) at 11:50. Cute! Looks like a cow.
