That has to be one of the most beautiful Nano Cubes I've ever seen. I have that tank myself and it was my introduction to the hobby. It is amazing to see what can be done with it. I certainly can relate to the feeling of failure you described. I never really accomplished a mature aquascape like yours. But you truly mastered this scape. I hope that one day I can set my Cube up again and and create something stunning like this too. Maybe even in the new 70L Scapers Tank by Dennerle. It seems like a very cool tank, maybe you want to look into that one yourself ;) Thanks for the inspiration!

I saw all THE CLIFF videos you've posted, I'm just wondering, I see sometimes you use CO2 and sometimes don't. Can you give clarification on that? I've never used any CO2 in my setups thus my plants stays with low tech plants such as Anubias nanas, buce's and vale's. I love your work of art! Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks!! I use CO2 for this tank, but sometimes when I shoot for video I take out the CO2 diffuser and heater. In order for the viewers to have a clear picture of the aquascape, this tank is small and any additional equipment can be distraction.

Another great video! My dwarf hairgrass is looking sad these days, some form of filament algae or a different form of string aglae. It wont go away, ill figure it out soon i hope, i dont want to pull it out yet, i think i can save the carpet.

Did you trim the moss after setting the tank up? Or did it just attached itself to the stone by time? I know that trough constant trimming in the early stages you can make the moss "crawl" over wood or stone. When i have such a huge Moss Patch somewhere, it tends to float up at some point, because the lower parts dont get enough light and die off ;D CO2 helps tough.

I trimmed the moss only once. It attached itself to the stone over time.

@@vladimirstojanovic3603 I think you called it out yourself. The tank is overstocked :D Its good amount of light and (probably) alot of Nutrients (N and P) thx to the Fish and Shrimps. Maybe you should just try fertilise K and E. Hairgrass dont need alot of nutrients, so does the Moss. Rotala Walichi instead will thrive under high light and nutrition levels. Maybe that will help to get rid of the BBA aswell.

Thanks!! When the algae is on the hardscape I treat it with liquid carbon (directly apply carbon to algae) but you have to be careful not to overdose the tank with liquid carbon .
