It's like Arnold Dreyblatt on mushrooms! Lovely, Walker, and thank you to Make Noise for using my Reel! Great demo that gives me tons of new ideas.

Just recently started to appreciate more the eurorack effects not as end-of-a-chain only, this video gives even more ideas, thanks!

@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC the EV is DEF a perfect example of something that lends itself to being incorporated into a patch almost more so than just an end of chain (EOC LOL.. End of Chain... maths joke lol) effect
@jsleeio3 жыл бұрын
yes! one of my favourite examples of this is in Intellijel's manual for the Springray (older version) spring reverb where they demonstrate using it to create cello-like tones. Erbeverb and Echophon are great for sound sources too

Well done. When I mix live music, I often ride the FX send fader as opposed to the return. You can get away with really dense, long repeats and thick reverb that way. In this context, you can create complex counterpoint through off timed fx sends. You got my gears turning, Thanks!

Yes, great way to put it! I think King Tubby did that too, too, too, toooooo

@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Great reference! It is actually daunting how much of an influence across all genres of music King Tubby and that little island had. Catch ya on the next way round.

Great inspiring video - you really capture the fun in patching. (A bonus for me was that I learnt how to use the Mult 🙂).

I had no clue that there was a VCA inside of QPAS... damn! (And kudos for the metaphor here with the aqueducts!)

Yes, it's a stereo VCA with a more exponential response than other ones in our system :)

Random question.. why does it seem make noise forsakes the ease of stack cables and instead goes for the passive mult? At times the mult is ideal... but stacks are far superior (in my superior keyboard warrior way of thinking and patching)
@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC3 жыл бұрын
We generally only show things that we actually sell. If you like stackcables better, then you should use them! I typically use a combination of the two at home.

Once you go through that aqueduct you stop being a musician and become a scientist of sound. You can never go back. PS: A 0 coast was enough to cross for me.

So you need a over 2000 bucks installation to make these beepings?, ridiculous ....

I mean, these beepings yes, but also all the other ones too? The careful or exuberant student will find many, many different worlds of beepings in this little device.
