I've never watched one of your videos before, but you are such a great narrator and storyteller, you pulled me right in. I love Montana, I've family in Livingston. My mom had a home in Emigrant. Someone called the terrain surrounding my mom's as barren as living on the moon. Yes, with the very high gusty winds and rocky surface, it did love very barren and sparse. Then a hop, skip & jump away is Paradise Valley & Yellowstone Park, God's playground. I love the drive from Livingston to Gardner. The drastic change in terrain is just breathtaking. As young girls, my friend and I were obsessed with drawing Arabian horses. I hadn’t thought about it in decades, but with Ziggy strutting around, I can see why we loved them so much. I own horses vicariously through you. I love watching you bring them back to life. To see the trust you build with them and the loving care they each receive. I appreciate it all the more because I know sometimes you struggle with the amount of work and hours it all takes, but it is such a blessing to be able to do what you are doing. This is the first time I've realized that Frisco Bill has a pleasure gate! I thought he was a full Quarter Horse this entire time! What a beauty, and so hard to believe he is almost 30 yr. old! Frisco Bill knows Ziggy is no quarter horse . May have to pick up another Arab for Ziggy's companion. Was beautiful to see him canter Arabs have such great self carriage back to front. They float across the field as on springs and they do carry their heads and neck much higher. Why they can have such excellent extended trots and canters can run with the wind heads held high smelling the wind blowing with their nostrils. They are so beautiful in free style can make you cry watching them move are so elegant and truly free. Fun video to watch love you talking about the personality of each horse and their thoughts. I have got to say that Ziggy's movement is beautiful. He was wasted at the dude ranch, he'd probably have done well over jumps. Now, while 18 isn't young, it rally isn't that old either. Certainly he isn't up to being a competition horse, but he would be an excellent horse to teach younger riders on. He is calm. I don't think he'd be as prone to doing pranks that a younger horse might pull.
