Assalamualeikum, I have a question regarding the letter ت please: When I pronounce it, it sounds wrong, like I am adding a س afterwards. Is it perhaps like with the letter ك? before watching your video, I used to pronounce it aspirated, now that I say it unaspirated it sounds more correct. Is ت unaspirated? (except at hams or?)
@amelkatrin3464

It is plosive I think. You push the air out
@cherryblossom6551
@cherryblossom6551 2 жыл бұрын
@@amelkatrin3464 BarakahAllahufeeki ❤️ yes it's a plosive, but plosives could be aspirated and unaspirated. Alhamdulillah I had found the answer a while back. So, ت is normally unaspirated, so there is no puff of air coming out, it's like the Spanish t rather than the english/german t

How can we know that we are rising the back of the tongue ?
@Arabic101
@Arabic101 3 жыл бұрын
First you take it to the maximum, which means that you feel the back of the tongue hitting the roof of your mouth, and then lower it bit by it till you get to the required level.

If air doesn't come out, there won't be ط or any other sound for that matter. The only sound that is generated from stopping air is hamzah.
