Well … I wish this video came up before the official Arai one that said to remove the chin part first. Think I’ve wrecked that part taking it out like they said!

Hi thecluelessbiker. It’s a real shame if the official video has caused you to damaged your helmet. If there is anything you ever want to know that can help you in the future then just leave it in a comment and I’ll make a video on it. I’m happy that you watched our video and liked it. 👍

Hi, i got the Astro Gx, asian variant of this helmet in small, it fits ok but there is a bit of a pressure in the forehead, how do i adjust the liner to make the pressure less on the forehead?
@mymoto-uk9 ай бұрын
Hi MotoJack. The fit of the helmet can be customised to make it a better fit for you. Unfortunately, it's something that really needs to be done in person by a trained Arai technician. You should be able to find out where your closed Arai center is via the Arai website. Thank you for watching the video and for leaving me a comment. Good luck with your helmet. 👍

Having bought my first Arai a couple days ago, for which I've been saving, this video is a blessing as I didn't want to remove the lining without knowing how to do so properly when the time comes ahahah I'm looking to buy a dark visor for my Arai Quantic. Could you tell me what should I pay attention to? As the websites I was looking at my model doesn't show up in the compatible helmets for the different Arai visors
@mymoto-uk7 ай бұрын
Hi Rodrigo. Congratulations on buying your first Arai and I am really happy to hear that our video might have helped you. When you are looking for a visor for the Quantic, you need to look for a Vas-V visor. The are the same visor that is used on the RX7v and the old Chaser-X. They come in a range of tint's, from Light and Dark smoke, to silver and iridium colours. Thank you for watching our video and thanks for leaving me a comment 👍

Can you do a video on the removal and refit of the arai concept X or rapid/rapide neo?
@mymoto-uk9 ай бұрын
Hi JRMD. Most of the Arai helmet liners work in the same way. The only difference is that some of the entry level helmets have got fixed liners. I will do some more instructional videos on the Arai helmets though

Hi there, i have Corsair V in Large that i would like to make fit like M. Is it possible with thicker 10mm or 12mm liner or not really ? Thanks
@mymoto-uk11 ай бұрын
Hi Ivan. You can replace the internal pads for slightly thicker versions. Going up to a 35mm cheek pad and 12mm skull cap lining. That should then make the helmet fit better for you. 👍

I cant use my glasses well, when use arai helmet
@mymoto-uk4 ай бұрын
Hi Deny. Wearing spectacles can make helmet fitting a tricky thing because not only are you trying to find a helmet that fits right and is comfortable, you also need it to work with your spectacles. If you already own an Arai helmet that feels uncomfortable with your spectacles, then sometimes a small amount of custom fitting, done by and Arai service center, can make it more comfortable for you. The only other option would be to try different styles of glasses with you helmet to see if that can help. I hope you manage to get something that works for you. Thank you for watching our video and thanks for leaving me a comment 👍

Is the neckroll removable in arai quantic?
@mymoto-uk Жыл бұрын
It’s not removable in the Quantic but it is in the RX7v

Sir 57 & 55 have same side cheek pad? how about the top lining?
@mymoto-uk Жыл бұрын
Hi Az. They both have the same size check pads but the Small has a 7mm skull cap lining and the medium has a 10mm skull cap lining. The reason for the larger helmet having the thicker skull cap lining is because it shares the outer shell with the Large size outer shell.

any advice how to make any adjustments if the helmet feels slightly tight after having bought it!
@mymoto-uk Жыл бұрын
Hi Abhimanyu. The best thing to do is buy some replacement internal soft linings that are one size down from what you currently have. They are normally-5mm on the cheek pads an -3mm on the skull cap.
@PetrolHeader Жыл бұрын
@@mymoto-uk In the manual, it says that you can "remove" some foam away from the skull cap to give a bit more room. But it is a bit unclear to me which part exactly can be detached. I haven't found any detailed explanation anywhere (the picture in the manual really doesn't help).

Is chin curtain removable in this helmet?
@mymoto-uk Жыл бұрын
Hi Ferit. The chin curtain is held in with an adhesive so it is not made to be removed. If it was something that you really didn't want in, you could probably mange to remove it but it wouldn't then be easily re fitted.
@ferit7418 Жыл бұрын
@@mymoto-uk Thank you for the answer and I want to ask you another question. I recently installed a pinlock and intercom correctly to my Quantic helmet. And today I rode a long way (+400km) after installation. I realized an issue. I start to hear rattle and strong wind noise from the left part of the helmet after +120km/h. I tried to understand it and it seems it is coming from left visor corner protection cap. When I push the cap to it's place, noise disappears. I few times opened and closed the cap but the issue remains. Do you have any recommendations to solve the issue?
@closery Жыл бұрын
@@mymoto-uk I think the chin curtain is very small in this helmet because it gets a lot of wind from there and in the winter it's very hard to use like that. Somehow can I use a bigger curtain? any advice on that?
@mymoto-uk Жыл бұрын
@@ferit7418 First of all I would check that the base plate screws are tight and also not split. If they are fine then I’d recommend replacing the base plate. They are the same as used on other Arai models and because of that they are quite cheap to replace.
@ferit7418 Жыл бұрын
@@closery I bought shoei chin pad and put it and tightened on top of arai chin pad. By this way you will get much less wind from there. There is a video about it from a italian youtuber actually
