The duality of Atmora/Aldmeris is an interesting idea. Given that Aldmeris is an elven homeland, elves worshipping Auriel, time itself and humans worshipping Lorkhan, the world, space. So Atmora being a homeland of humans, who despise Auriel is figuratively without time and Aldmeris not existing in physical space.

When you look at the Primordial history of it all, you can see how the Mer would view the situation with Man, and why they'd want to be free of it all, and see the Humans as insignificant in most ways Doesn't make them right in all of their actions taken against them, but from the Anuic races point of view, well, Mundus is a deceptive creation of Lorkhan, and he essentially is the reason that the Pantheons of the Aldmer (and Yokudans/Redguards) are in disarray. As for the Mer being a part of the Old Ehlnofey, there could've been others, like maybe the Centaurs, who are also Old Ehlnofey, but Mer are all generally from that stock. I'm sure that the Aylieds, Direnni, and Falmer also subscribed to this story as well... but unfortunately, since they've all been massacred away, we can't really say for sure, but given their origins and Pantheons, I'd assume that they also share that idea as well. The Redguards try to reach the Far Shores so they can get out of Mundus safely and hopefully escape the cycle one day. And the Dunmer also technically see Mundus as an Obstacle to overcome, and they want to eventually transcend out of it as well. So while they may not hate Mundus as much, they ultimately wish to be free of it all, and Boethia expresses that as well. And yeah, the Ancestor Worship the Psyjic Order views is also interesting, since they do admit the Aedra are of exceptional power, but are still the same category as the other Ehlnofey that were around with them as well. As for Atmora, it was once called Altmora, (or rather, the ElderWood) and Lorkhan and his Wandering Ehlnofey had taken it over from Auriel as you said, so in the old days, the ElderWood was a kingdom of Aldmeris, but it was split from it, as were the other Continents. Lorkhan shattered it all, and well... Aldmeris as a land will no longer exist, but the cultural idea of it is what may still be attainable, if all the Anuic Mer can unite in one goal again.
