I don't think you can define feminism in one particular way. Women that day faced different challenges and today they face different things. The difference is, in Ammuchi's time women didn't have a voice but now women have a voice to speak against the system and society that holds them to a standard that is ancient. Even screaming feminism, women still face struggles that men don't even have to think about.
