I am going to pactice some of these tips during my Sedona Canyon 125 prep. Yesterday, I completed about 22 miles of the course yesterday in the crazy wind and noticed my second toe nails on both feet get displaced. So, today, I filed them back on an angle. I think that's going to be super helpful in the future. Did clean them up after the run with an emjoi nano thing a ma jig that removed the callous on my right forefoot and applied a generous amount of Vaseline then socked up. Sooth this morning. We'll see how the toes feel after today's run. It's rainy, so I might have some issues. Appreciate the tips as a newbie to these ultra courses.

Curious of the Darn Tough model they are promoting for trail running? I wear Darn Tough for hiking but have never worn them for trail running.
