What do you do about those sun balls in later arcs? The ones that the fabled drop, and they explode eventually. I have this exact build, and I can't DPS them fast enough, then I get 1shot

This build is so fun, gear is easily obtainable so I kitted up my arcanist and got further in the archive than I ever have, I felt so at ease with it, plus I got 5 focused efforts stacks by cycle 4 it was insane lol I was unstoppable 👹 Thanks so much for the guide!

Will you be doing an update on the one bar arcanist immortality build soon, could you also explain what passives to use or if you know any good resources for figuring out passives, I always struggle trying to figure out if I need an ability for them to work or not. Thanks for the videos man really helpful, the game is not that easy to understand without them.

Hi Daniel! I was just talking about this on Monday's stream. I tried. I spent quite a bit of time on it. I just really do not like it and I wasn't happy with anything I put together working around all the 'meta' set ups. Even with 2 focused efforts early, it still felt a bit awful. I think the NB makes a great 2 bar set up for IA, but not the greatest 1 bar set up. I am sure someone is going to come up with something at some point or get a FE highlight reel and post that, but I just didn't feel good putting anything I had out there for people to play. After breaking it down, I believe its for 3 reasons: 1) They don't have the same defensive strength, (specifically) for what is needed in higher arcs on the flex spot on the builds I use. 2) They don't have the same ease of status effect generation, overcharged aside. 3) Of the abilities relevant to use, the NB just has a bit weaker passives being added to the build vs. most other classes. The 1 bar IA builds I have sort of follow the same formula that leaves 2 flex spots per class/build. 1 spot for a status effect generator (ideally not single target) and if the class doesn't provide that we can get it from scribing and 1 spot for a defensive spot, (primarily for shielding) to increase effective max health for the bigger hits in upper arcs, and if the class doesnt have that we can also get it from scribing. What I ended up with that actually worked, was more or less a full scribing set up and it felt nothing like a NB. There was not a single ability that was actually from the NB skill lines. I could have very easily missed something, happens all the time, but for right now, I am just going to pause the NB build project for another time. I am wrapping up the final touches on the last few class guides and then the IA builds are all done and covered for a while. I really did put in a lot of hours to try and make it work, I just couldn't carve it out this time, with the time I have available for it. It feels so much more difficult than other classes (for 1 bar), or you end up with a full non-NB skill bar and it feels very generic.

I love this build and it works amazingly! I’m having trouble understanding why we need charged trait … that 400% + chance … cuz without it it’s like 200%+ which will hit every time too right???? But please lmk

I would love to find some fun build, especialy for transition between one bar and two bar (I still sturgle with two bars but I am determined to give it a try). I hate that my sorc is only one of my hord that is not from the gameroom :-) but I realy HATE criters!

This build looks awesome. If I want to level an arcanist to end up playing this build do you have a suggestion for the best way? Do I just go health from the beginning or would stam or mag stacking be better? New to the game so not really sure how to do this the most efficient

Hi there and welcome to ESO! I 100% would not level as this build or even level as 1 single build at all. Leveling in ESO is not designed to be challenging. Most overworld things are going to fall over even if your char was naked. I would level up as many skills and weapons as you can along the way since you are collecting XP anyway. Constantly rotate skills out for new ones once you have them leveled up. Have 1 or 2 that you can lean on to get through things but in general, level as much as you can. You will almost certainly have to circle back and spend even more time grinding xp later if you don't. You may also be interested in a build like this as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4CbnKmfa85on8U&t The one you commented on is only good exclusively for Infinite Archive, but that one I just linked will let you run tons more content with it. I legit used this in a BG and crushed it, 1mil damage plus by just spamming HA and Ele Sus. Have you guys tried this in PvP? It’s solid tanky status affecter!

I have actually been playing an IA'ish set up here on the Arcanist this week in BGs mainly using status effects, so I can totally see the potential there. Great work. 💪

Unrated comment but I was doing the 1 bar dps arcanist and blood craze picture is a arcanist picture and it says to use tentacular dread but I click it and it brings me to pragmatic fatecarver. I love this arc build. And if I don't have nullarca what can I use instead? Way of fire?

Hi there! Honestly I dont think it's a super great tank set up. You arent really providing anything to the group (or yourself really) and the damage output from the sets used would be really negligible without the IA verses to power them.

Hi there! I recently ran the build I think you are referring to with '5 months ago' through veteran arenas on stream and it worked totally fine post-nerfs to the class. The other versions of the Immortal Build from the channel have been in Discord for a little while now, which is this build here, adapted for a lightning staff and a few other smaller changes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6aai6GYrrVjpNU I plan to make a new guide soon'ish for that updated version that is in Discord for everyone on KZbin. I just havent had time for it yet with the IA builds and play testing. But, good news there, I just finished the last build for IA, so I am freed up a bit now for the other projects.

Thx for the build. I'm gonna try this for fun next week end when I have time to figure out the rotation and adjust CP. I already crafted both sets. However am Khajit instead of Nord and only have 2 pieces nirnhoned instead of 4. I started nirn research for the other 2 pieces but since it's my last trait, it takes 27 days :(

You are very welcome Pierre! Just to make sure: the only 2 pieces that are Nirn are the Gloves and Belt, the rest is in Reinforced. For now, you can also make the Gloves/Belt Reinforced if you have that researched and you should be totally good to go. If you don't have Reinf. either for those 2 pieces, you can just make them Divines. You'll end up a bit under resist cap, but you should still be good to play the build. You shouldn't really feel the difference much until higher Arcs.

@@Dooma It's actually what I did, I used reinforced where I couldn't use nirn and I replaced health on one jewelry with protective to get the spell and physical resistance I lost with not having those nirn.

I was preparing to try this then figured out that 2 of the required skills are locked behind Gold Road paywall (62$ cdn), ESO+ doesn't give me access. 3 of the other 4 skills are still level 1 in their pre morph version. And I have no clue what prismatic enchantment is (been away 4 years). So I'll work on boosting the 3 skills I can access now, figure out the enchantment and the 2 skill from Gold Road will have to wait for a sale or when gold road is added to ESO+
