I remember the good old days renting this out from blockbusters before buying it. Great game and update from burnout 3. Watching this video makes me want to jump back on this on my PS2

I remember a few years back when I used to play an emulated version of Burnout Legends on the family computer. I spent days on the game grind to get gold on every event I played. I never finished the game unfortunately but I got very far into it and is easily in the list of my top racing games along with Wipeout Pulse and GT4. It also introduced me to I Want by Goldfinger and The Hey Man by Emmanuel so I'm thankful for that too. I also remember in 2018 when I saw ads for Burnout Paradise Remastered playing on screens in front of a game store in the local mall and thinking "Damn that game looks sick, I'd kill to get it". Unfortunately at the time all we had was a Wii (yes, in 2018) so I never got to play it. In any case, sick video, really enjoyable and I'll probably get around to trying Burnout Revenge. Keep it up!

Burnout Revenge is steps up from 3 with crashbreaker, some extra traffic check, and arguably my favourite crash mode that don't just rely on multiplier, also Soundtrack slaps

On the traffic check part, there are some points you missed: - You can't traffic check parked vehicles (as you see them by having both headlights and tail lights turned off) in crash mode. Ramming them directly will crash you - Sure you can throw oversized vehicles with small cars to prevent yourself from crashing, but this is an exception for semi trucks. Although they're checked, semi trucks can still backfire you with a crash if you don't avoid them

I also have a massive problem with how much heavier the vehicles are in the Xbox 360 version. It's like trying to take down brick walls, and it really ruins the combat. So that, and the graphical changes make me stick with the PS2 version instead. It's also my favorite arcade racer ever made, and I always want to see it get more love especially since everyone always talks about Burnout 3 instead lol.

Traffic checking also makes close races exceptionnaly interesting in multiplayer, because the player in the lead is incentivised to check every. single. car. in order to not get taken down from behind. Unfortunately the AI rarely traffic checks cars into you so its less of a factor in single player. Luckily, there's a project in the works to bring back online multiplayer, but they've only made the Burnout 3 version public.

12:18 theres a fix for this, if you hold aftertouch before the boost Guage is full the timer will count down very slowly and you can look around

One thing from the beginning. As Rat i tell ya, paradise got a second eyes on in 2020. Why? A switch remastered version was released and for alot of fans, this was kinda big.

To be honest, I didn't find the bloom that much of an issue. The game is still a blast to play. I also have the PS2 version, but I just couldn't continue playing it 'cause it would get stuck on a loading screen every 5 or 10 minutes. Was sick of restarting it every time, so I opted to buy it on Xbox.

Bruh i think you're one of the few ones that actually miss those power ups on the crash mode😅 for me, it's good riddance, now i can focus more on destroying cars
